La Terrazza - Speisekarte

Superb meal specially booked to go whilst on holiday in the area as it was so good last time! We weren’t disappointed it was excellent.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while on vacation and enjoyed a wonderful meal with my family. I will definitely be dining here again the next time I'm in the area.

Just had a nice meal here with wife and are daughter and hir boyfriend the food was very good and the services was good to had a fab time and would recommend this for a good meal out would go back agen Speisekarte ansehen

I can't give anything less than 5 stars for this restaurant. The service was great, the food was excellent, and they even allowed us to bring in our well-behaved dog. It's clear that Paolo, the owner and chef, is passionate about his food and his customers. Definitely worth a visit.

It's hard to understand the small number of quite nasty reviews on here, as we really enjoyed our visit and came back the next evening. What a pleasure to eat Italian away from the big bland chains of restaurants like Prezzo or Ask Italia. It is true that the decor is basic but it is in keeping with the style of the restaurant a homely family restaurant with good food and service at very reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly visit again.

Lovely little Italian restaurant! We had the Penne Al Funghi, Penne Primavera and linguine Fruits De la mare (sorry for poor spelling) which were all delicious! The mushroom pasta was creamy but not too strong or rich for a big dish. The staff were lovely, our waitress was very friendly and chatty and had great knowledge of the dishes and dietary requirements. The chef came to check on the food and was very friendly. We had a starter off of the specials menu and a pudding too which were both very nice. Great price for lovely food and a very good value. I ordered the chicken with mushroom, garlic, and onion in a creamy sauce, but unfortunately the sauce had separated and was watery in consistency, which was not very enjoyable. However, the steak and spaghetti bolognese that others in my group ordered were both delicious, so I believe I just had bad luck with my meal. The server who took our order was friendly and welcoming, and the chef was also personable and interacted with diners. The rest of the staff were professional and pleasant as well. I must say, the homemade tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had - I could have eaten three servings! I wish it was available to purchase in a supermarket.

If I could give no stars I would. I have been searching online for reviews of La Terrazza as I cannot believe we ate at the restaurant that is so praised on TripAdvisor! We were slightly uncomfortable on arrival when the decor was extremely run down. No table cloths, grubby walls, table mats sticking to the table and sticky menus. Two of our party of four were keen to leave straight away but my partner couldn't find a table anywhere else closer than 50 minutes away Good Friday and a logistical priblem accepted living in Shropshire! . Staying at a caravan park nearby and thought we’d support local and try the local Italian and reading the reviews on here. Wish we hadn’t. First of all, the restaurant is run down and tired. We chose to say in the ‘little room’ after having our pick of tables in the empty restaurant. At 19:30 on a bank holiday Friday evening, we should’ve known that was a red flag. There was no music, and it was weirdly quiet even with other diners. Like awkward to speak out loud. Ordered a Moretti a lemonade. Lemonade was out of a bottle which had been open a whole, and the Moretti was a tiny bottle. We both ordered the special stater as the waitress described it so beautifully.
