What a fantastic venue for a special occasion every thing went as planned by the lovely young lady we booked through staff excellent

The young waitress and bartender were fantastic. Service was great and the drinks tasted fab. The atmosphere was good and the venue had relaxed vibes 5/5

Unbelievable service from Rosie and Charlotte today. I held a business lunch for 20 people and the staff couldn’t have done more helpful or professional. I’ll definitely be back. Speisekarte ansehen

Went for a meal with my wife and it was awful, firstly the bread with the hummus was rock hard and actually broke her tooth, not sure what century it had come from, then we found not 1 but 2 hairs in our meals, certainly won’t be back which is a shame as we looked forward to it

We have been staying in the hotel and we decided to dine with Le Monde Restaurant. We weren't disappointed! Whoever made this food is a magician! Burgers were just amazing. I liked the idea of small plates like tapas. Once we will be back to Edinburgh, we will dine there again!

Good ambiance, comfortable, with good selection of drinks and plenty staff.... But not to accept American Express is a bit 1990’s. Everyone accepts it now. I would not encourage customers to spend elsewhere by limiting payment options, on way back from restaurant on George st we decided to go to Printing press rather , simply because of this backward Amex policy. We arrived slightly earlier than our table booking, a member of staff explained that they were training and all good explained the menu for the boozy brunch we received our cocktails (our starter) then came the boards with salmon belongs and cream cheese and croissant with fruit yum very filling they then took our order a small selection but honestly very good choices to be made I opted for eggs benedict delish then once done we got a choice of shots we all opted for Guinness shots along with this you also get 3 glasses each of prosecco all for £35 pp . Just wonderful, staff very attentive and would definitely head back

Went for lunch with friends. Food was good, and we all enjoyed our lunch, but when the bill came it was a lot more than we expected. There are various steaks on the menu (for an advertised £4 supplement). All good so far. However when offered chips and a sauce two friends chose these, thinking they were included. When the bill came the chips were a £4 supplement per person and the sauce £2 each. So actually the supplement for steak is £10 extra. This not clearly explained. When questioned the waitress agreed that in fact the steak would come (at a four pound supplement) with nothing else if one didn’t pay extra for chips or sauce. A shame because otherwise the food (both starters and mains)...

My husband and I were given a Le Monde Luxury Afternoon Tea voucher as a gift so I booked a table for the afternoon of the day that suited us. The sandwiches, cakes, scones etc were nice enough but the service that we received was terrible. On arriving the waiter asked if he could get us a glass of Prosecco and when I said that it stated on the voucher that it was to be Champagne he said that he would go and check taking the voucher with him. He came back and we were given our two glasses of Champagne. Later we were served our cups of tea, coffee etc. At no point were we asked if everything was ok.
