Carte classique mais les plats sont délicieux et les prix tout à fait raisonnables. Le service est rapide. En bref c'est très bien !

The food was acceptable but the waiter didn't even care to ask if we like our food spicy or not or if a vegetable dish was vegan. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-19

Asked for vegan and was grunted at. Had Onion Bhaji and a Dahl. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Make a better Dahl myself really. Asked for a garlic Naan without butter and that was granted but pretty tasteless. Speisekarte ansehen

The waiter was friendly and knew what vegan is. Pakora and Oignon Bhaja can be made vegan and Dal is anyhow. Nan is not vegan. The Pakora and Oignon Bhaja were good, the Dal a little boring and the lentils a little undercooked.

Prix agréable, service rapide, patron souriantCuisson du poulet et du saumon excellente, cheese nan au top. Salade certainement en sachet et vinaigrette toute prête, frite congelé, vraiment dommage.Bon dans l'ensemble, manque peut être un menu découverte des plats, beaucoup de chose à la carte.

What a delightful restaurant. The best Indian cuisine we had here in France. We had the Lamb Biryani as well as the Lamb tandoor tikka masala. The meat was so tender and the portions very generous. This was accompanies by a garlic naan, mango lassi and a dry white wine. An absolute success and complements to the Le Penjab owber and staff. I am definitely planning to come and eat here again. We dont "do" moules frites, so finding something really appetising in St Malo, (which is one of our favourite places incidentally) can be challenging. OK! So you dont generally go to France for its Indian curry houses, but we can thoroughly recommend this place. The staff are really friendly and accommodating and the food is lovely and very reasonably priced with large portions. We had meat samosas and onion bhajis to start, much better than at home, with chicken tikka and biryani for our main course. Complimentary tray of pickles and poppodum as well. With drinks the bill was under 50 euros. Saw that there were some lovely vegetarians options too.

Déçus car avons suivi les avis de TRIP !! Connaissant bien cette cuisine puisque nous connaissons bien le pays plusieurs voyages en couple sacs à dos avons été déçu par le goût insipide des plats au nombre de 7 que nous avons commandé ...Le Lassi nature yaourt dilué simplement !! pas de goût , la Raita très basique , le poulet tandoori ..rien d' un tandoori , le basmati très moyen etc.. bref nous avons aperçu un vieux monsieur d' origine indienne ??? ou pakistanaise en cuisine qui aidait le cuisinier , il nous paraissait bien fatigué ...peut être sommes nous tomber un jour ou il aurait fallu passer notre chemin ... Tired of seeing mostly French food around our hotel and the surrounding area, I researched on TA and I was delighted to find an Indian restaurant where I could eat something more meaty and spicy.About 20mins walk to the old town and on a quite side street, is this lovely, small and well decorated establishment. Although in French, the menu is quite clear and concise. The pricing also seemed reasonable, in my opinion. I ordered the lamb tikka Masala with rice and wife had a chicken biriyani rice as the main course, including a starter of keema samosa and a nan bread to go with it.
