"The small village of Carentec is mostly open during the tourist season and has several restaurants. We stayed at the adjacent Hotel de la Baie de Morlaix so the rest of the restaurants were closed and we decided to taste this restaurant. Seats are available inside and outside and we were warmly welcomed. Although their English is very economical, it was easy enough to make our drinks and food order clear. There were 2 beers and a Breton Cidre on tap with spirits and a decent selection of wine. The menu selection was enough to please everyone with pizza, salad, fish, mussels and even a burger. We ate there finally 3 times, as we were so satisfied with the quality of the food and the pleasant inviting nature of the owners and their daughter. Her pizza fillings were very generous with local ingredients and more than value for money. The popularity of the pizza of the restaurant was born by the number of locals who called for a ride. The Oysters offered as starters (12 or 6) were caught fresh and locally. During our visits we also tried to provide the Entrecote Rib Eye Steak locally and cooked for perfection. Also on the menu was Confit Duck Leg with flageolet beans, goat cheese Salad Entree (big enough to be a Main Dish), Pasta Carbonate and Bolognese and the local Brittany Favorite by Moules et Frite. For Chocoholics there is a selection of candy, including a chocolate mouth, and the house made Panacotta is slightly fresh and delicious. Typical cost for 5 people, the drinks wine Main Curse and either appetizers or candy and a few liquors were around 160 euros, which was extremely fair for quality and taste."
