Jolie restaurant de quartier,avec une belle terrasse Très bon accueil et service excellent, Nourriture moyenne mais copieux, tiramisu bizarre ....

Un endroit très sympa en dehors des lieux de tourisme authentique. Avec une cuisine succulente L entrecôte au fromage Corse énorme et un régal pour les papilles. De bons vins de Calvi.Le patron super sympa. Un vrai moment de convivialité.

Une salade Rubica très bien garnie, une surprise avec un pavé de bœuf en croûte à la cuisson parfaite comme demandé. Une cuisson tout aussi maîtrisée des poissons. Tout cela sur une placette loin des pièges à touristes. De plus, personnel sympa pour ce restaurant brasserie ouvert toute l'année. Bravo, mérite le détour. Speisekarte ansehen

Nous avons réserver ce restaurant avant de prendre le bateau de 15h. Accueil super sympa, serveurs très cool, surtout avec les enfants. Les plats sont bons et à des prix raisonnables. Les desserts sont à ne pas manquer. On sens la cuisine fait maison...On recommande vivement. Service rapide à 5 min du port, parking à proximité

Une fois n'est pas coutume, nous optons pour cette brasserie située au centre ville, mais pas dans une rue spécialement touristique.Sur une très belle terrasse ombragée on a mangé une cuisine fine, rafraichissante, séduisante, servie par un personnel chaleureux et au top.Que voilà donc une bonne surprise, c'est certain, nous reviendrons !

Le Rubica is behind the touristy main square, well worth checking it out! This appears to be more for the locals but we were very impressed with the food on offer. The portions were huge and extremely good quality! Don't be scared to try this place out as you won't be disappointed! Far less expensive than most restaurants in the area too. Pour un dîner nous étions quatre. Les plats sont bien dressés, copieux, à température et bons. De la bonne cuisine que certains nomment avec un peu de mépris, bourgeoise, de celle qu'on pourrait faire chez soi, mais qu'on hésite a réaliser car si cela paraît simple, ce n'est l'est pas, comme ce risotto qui mêle poissons, fruits de mer et viande, charcuteries.Cerise sur le gâteau, les prix sont hyper raisonnables.

Read the reviews so gave it a try. It's only 2 minutes out of the main square near the Casino supermarket. The staff don't speak English and we dont speak much French but we got by. The waiter/ owner is friendly. The menu is short but enough choice. Good size portions, all the good is delicious and the pizzas excellent. They have nice Corsian wine at a reasonably price which the other restaurant don't seem to sell. only sell expensive wines. This was our favourite place to eat.

We stayed 3 nights in L’Ile Rousse, and ate here the first night. Ended up eating here all three nights as it was excellent, and couldn’t find anything elsewhere to compare. Lovely outside tables in a quiet square, very friendly staff, especially the older lady the mother of course), who was most welcoming, delicious food and wines at very reasonable prices. A great varied menu, and all served efficiently and with good sized portions. Can’t fault it. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant, and I especially recommend the pizzas, which were excellent.
