Had their onion soup and salad- so wonderful ! returned another evening for their apple tart & homemade ice cream .

The croissant is the best in Paris! service was wonderful and mimosas were great (but b careful they are very strong! . egg omelet was delightful. will b returning !

This restaurant was close to our hotel. It was late and we were hungry so we stopped in. The food is good and the service was excellent. Everyone was very pleasant and eager to please. Speisekarte ansehen

Place has the friendliest staff. The food is always prepared exactly to my specifics. Usually, it’s Steak frites but we have tried their chicken and fish dishes. Always tastes fresh, always delicious. It’s our favorite bistro in Paris.

Had the Strawberry Caipirinha and it was great. I had the Nordique Club Sandwich and it was perfect. The gin martinis were very good. I highly recommend the Petit Chablis...like a grade of A+. My overall rating is Very Good instead of Excellent because my friend's Entrecôte was just plainly unacceptable. He ate perhaps 25% of it. It was not good at all. The overall experience though was very good.

Que ce soit pour un petit-déjeuner ou un dîner (souper !) vers 23h30, le St-Germain est accueillant, efficace et rapide. C'est rare pour un café-restaurant qui accueille plus de clients de passage que d'habitués, et c'est à souligner.Certes le jour où Paris ne sera peuplé que de voitures électriques la terrasse sera plus agréable et surtout moins bruyante...Et encore bravo pour les jeunes serveurs du soir, qui ce jour avait l'humour juste. Located in a busy area in St. Germain des Pres. Really good food at a reasonable price (35 Euro for 3 courses) with classic french dishes (Escargot, Steak Frites, Duck).Adeline was our waitress and she was fabulous - very friendly!This was my daughter's first time eating escargot (they were delish!) - she made it through 3 of them before she started thinking too much about the fact that they were snails (her loss!). Very generous servings on the main course (steak in her case, lamb in my case) and dessert.Recommend highly.

For the first time in my life I experienced the situation where someone said that he will not serve me wine, water and small plates if I don't order main dish now as well. (Time was 1:30 pm).Justifying everything in short words: "because this is a restaurant" and knocking his hand on the table.I treat that as a complete misunderstanding and an example of what you should not get when being served.Does not matter what the place, setup and rules are - some basic behaviour shall be kept regardless of that.Summing up... it was an absolutey wrong attitude of the staff.I hope that noone else in future experiences that what I did.Myself I won't bother trying it again.

This cafe was close to our hotel. We ate here on our first and last nights. I really enjoyed the white wine Touraine it was chilled just right which was great on a warm June afternoon. We had the house pate the first night delicious. Both nights we had the burrato/tomato/pesto salad excellent. I had the salmon the second night and we split the duck the first night both very good. We sat outside it 's on a corner and we were on the less busy side recommended . Only issue was the occasional smoker unavoidable in Paris and small table normal for a sidewalk cafe .
