"we went to book a table around 7pm for 8.30pm on the terrace. We were told "no problem is noted!"At 8:30 pm no table on the terrace, we are patient at the bar and we see that a table of 7 without reservation arrives and gets installed. I'm going to see the room leader and ask him if it's possible to dine or we're going elsewhere (because we have 2 young children). We are answering yes no worries...It would have been appreciated to be warned of the long waiting we were going to suffer. We'd have eaten somewhere else. Once installed, after 1/2 hour, we waited 1h30 to be served by relaunching several times the servers that despite them suffered negative customer comments. even 2 fried chopped steaks were complic to get out quickly. to finally meet after 2 hours of waiting in the end with an error on the child order, a not cooked calamar and a suitable salad. restaurant to run away in case of high affluence!"

excellent time, small table under the trees, super waitress, smiling. side plate c is simple. I've never eaten such a good salad, a delight, fresh, tomatoes, burrata, country ham, pesto. nothing to say and baba dessert with very good rum. so 5 stars Speisekarte ansehen

nice terrace but when we get a risotto and a bull paved 2 minutes after the order we are entitled to ask questions. The risotto lacks cooking, no parmesan. the fries with the bull were at home. But when we asked for the desserts card we forgot ... so much we paid and left. A little expensive restaurant for what it is.

We're leaving this restaurant right now. the card is not a huge pad, but there are for all tastes. We have tasted the kidneys, the st-stone nets, the gamba risotto and a bull tartar. It was just great! a friendly service that, in a tourist city, allows you not to feel appreciated only for your wallet. The glass of the boss at the end of the meal was the cherry on the cake. the restaurant is located close to the arenas, which does not spoil anything, on a pretty shaded square. an address to be retained!

"Enoteca has only been going 6 months or so which may explain the lack of reviews on TripAdvisor but don't let that put you off dining here. We'd been staying close by for the week and hadn't realised at first that this restaurant is also linked to a great little deli about 10 doors down on the same rue. So you have two great places to discover! We stopped in there for a glass of wine first in the last of the days sun before heading to the restaurant for dinner. The owner is a lovely, attentive guy who is clearly very passionate about his Italian produce; food and wine! Over dinner we were well looked after and shared delicious burrata as starter, followed by two authentic Italian pasta dishes for main course. The beef in mine was rich and tender, obviously having been cooked for hours. Dessert were small coffees with a delicious citrus mouse on the side and plenty of biscotti biscuits to dip. Drinks wise we'd enjoyed a glass of white at the deli but moved onto passionfruit spritz for aperitifs followed by a delicious Nero d'Avola to match our mains. This red was fantastically smooth and fruity, with no hint of tannins in the after taste. I was surprised that the place wasn't packed out on a Friday night but there is a festival in town for a couple of days so that could be keeping people busy, but this place will surely gain in popularity and in the rankings in Nimes very soon. Recommend this Italian restaurant which suits this French city drenched in Roman history!"
