a place tastefully decorated, no menu card, the renowned cheff offers you a kitchen according to the arrival of the season and local, let her husband advise you the wine that you will not be disappointed. delicious meal full of surprise. whisky lovers for the end of the meal ask the cheff, a great amateur. We had already been lunch in this restaurant already at the time to please: simple and fresh products, very well cooked. very pleasant welcome! always as well, a menu with choice between two entries, two dishes and two desserts. in a holiday to serve the castle, we decided to come to lunch. very friendly reception but no barrier gesture, no mask or verification of the health pass. a little shocking for us who have lost loved ones of the covid. good no scandal.. the unique meal so no choice and no visible price. We had a soup of pallet vegetables, a fine slice of duck paste. house ? cold rosbif cut in slices so fine that we could almost see through with fries in the oven certainly home, but very fat and a fresh cream sauce without special taste. for dessert a small part of clafoutis with apples without cracks for €. This was a delightful hotel. We stayed for three nights while visiting family nearby and were very happy with our choice. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortably and stylishly decorated hardly surprising given that the furniture came straight from the Ritz Carlton...in Paris thanks to the owner, Martina’s connections. The welcome was equally comfortable: friendly while observing all the COVID rules. We only ate once alas but nibbled a few times around a nightcap. of us visited for Sunday lunch. Everything was amazing! We started with homemade soup and warm bread. Full of flavour. We then moved into appetiser plates, one consisted of buffalo mozzarella and ham, whilst the other was duck terrine with cucumber. Absolutely divine....The most important part of course was the main, which was incredible. We had plates of entrecôte, one cooked more to the rare side and the other more to medium. Outstanding steak, cooked to perfection and rich in flavour. Served with potatoes and green beans, with a tomato and red pepper sauce.
