Every time I come to stay in Normandy I reserve a table at the escapade for the quality of the menu guaranteed fresh products, the service and the geographical location (free parking is becoming rare) thank you to the owners for your welcome and do their utmost to satisfy their customers. Small disappointment, the fries are not homemade, the salad is not seasoned, given the price there are improvements to be made but overall the food is adequate. My husband and I discovered this little restaurant thanks to the “Face à la mer” hotel to which it is almost adjacent. The owner is very welcoming and only offers fresh products on her menu. We feel good there and we can go there with our eyes closed. The team around him (in the dining room and kitchen) is also very efficient and professional. We will not fail to come back to taste a seafood sauerkraut or the delicious scallop risotto during our next stay in Merville-Fanceville.
