"Visiting this lovely establishment on a whim with my partner. We arrived early and decided to have a drink in the bar. Very prompt service! After our drink we were escorted to our table and proceeded to order. We had the arancini and beans on toast to start. Where do I begin? I should imagine they have managed to obtain the Heinz recipe because it was simply incredible. So flavoursome and a beautiful amount of smokiness. Now for the main event, we had the pork belly scallops and the penang cod curry and OMG what an amazing couple of dishes they were! Scallops were incredible! The house made noodles were to die for! I am simply in awe with this establishment. What a transformation this public house has had. Thank you to the Kitchen team and Dean for a wonderful evening, I cannot wait to dine again"

Went for my sons birthday lovely old pub Roast dinner was lovely but could have had a few more potatoes otherwise very nice and would be lovely in the summer

Overpriced frozen ****. Truly awful. Waitress was very nice but the food was seriously sub-standard. Took ages to get the food it was literally a frozen Tesco party snack platter.

The food at this restaurant is top-notch, the service is exceptional, the ambiance is comfortable and inviting, and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend dining here!

A friendly family pub. Relax am sphere. Food well presented and tasted lovely. We are not local but visit when we have been walking . It is disappointing no dogs are allowed as most people we see are dog walkers and miss out or families with dogs are restricted. Speisekarte ansehen

Went with my family for some drinks and food. Didn’t want to go to Stortford, so decided to stay local. Sat by the lovely fire. Food was fab and the portions were huge. Well worth the money spent. Staff were lovely. A great afternoon was had by all. Will definitely be back

Stick with the fish and chips, otherwise-Boo hiss. Charged for uneaten lasagna, no offer to comp $20 meal. Total bill for 6 a reasonable $140.00. Ordered fish and chips to replace below average lasagna. The setting is nice English style pub. Sorry we didn't take a picture of the lasagna-real disappointment.
