slices of the bark sky! with the woman and our two friends and all that was served, tasted amazing! there was a waiting time, but for what came to the table, I would have waited longer.

Fantastic wine list and delicious menu with local products. The Magdalen Arms has a charming, rustic atmosphere, with interesting interior details in all areas. The Basque Cheesecake is highly recommended. Don't disappoint!

Ah-MAZING! that is really a jewel! amazing fresh food. they change the menu daily. nice drinks options also. I had the oldest and Prosecco pizza. the lunch melted in my mouth. the guinea was so tender and had a nice sauce. also panna cotta with strawberries for dessert. we've reserved for dinner tomorrow night.

Made for a special night and enjoyed the delicious food. The staff was a great sign was a warning that they were short employees and many new employees, but they did a great job and we were well looked after. It's a pub so fair enough. Good choice of beers on Hahn and Erwischt. Everything on our plates was delicious. Would recommend.

What a fun place! Great atmosphere, great food, great people. We were in the UK on our honeymoon, and these crazy folks worked with our crazy family (on the phone, while we ate) to cover our meal, including a glass of fizz and sticky toffee pudding as a surprise. This was the only meal we planned in advance, and it was worth it. Thanks for a great night!

Served in this restaurant for a family dinner and not regretted it! The place is very cozy and reminds of a medieval tavern with wooden tables and ceilings and very welcoming staff a tray of mint cake right in front of the entrance). Our waiter was very happy, friendly and prompt and the dishes were AMAZING!! Home made focaccia was my personal highlight followed naturally by the excellent lamb...! You just have to order it when you visit this place. Overall, I would definitely like to visit this wonderful jewel of a restaurant again

There is practically nowhere to eat in Oxford. Nowhere good that is. Perhaps it’s some sort of academic badge of honour, an interest in good food, as if it’s slightly distasteful, unseemly, even, amid all that learning. One’s mind fixed on higher things, perhaps.
