"After we have tried various places to eat on a bank holiday to discover it completely booked or rude fellow workers, we have luck with our 5th attempt. it was so refreshing to be welcomed and informed, there were food available. our friends were vegan and this place had a lot of choice surprising for them! we had happy to arrive during the happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails. I chose a distinctive mojito that was made beautiful. for beginners I really wanted to taste chicken wings or the mac n cheese, but I worship bulton. When that came, it was just like the one my friend had brought back from Malawi. it was convenient to use a paper bag that offers a medium for snacks later and kitty tasty. for the net order all hate one? a thick broth plate, filled with various meats such as lamb or pebbles. I had a bobadi dish that were baked with mint. all seasoned were perfect and generous. overall really good service and a beautiful variety especially for vegan vegan vegans."

Unser Essen kam und es war nicht von dieser Welt. Die Präsentation auf den Tellern war unglaublich. Ich habe mein Essen sehr genossen, umso mehr, als ich mir keine Sorgen um Gluten machen musste. Die Dessertkarte war großartig. Ich und mein Partner haben beide die Proteinpfannkuchen gepflückt und wieder war die Präsentation fantastisch. Sie sahen wirklich so gut aus, wie sie schmeckten. "Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"AMAZING FOOD! I ordered the vegetarian pho with tofu and veggie chicken (which was delicious and the portion size was huge! This bowl is bigger than my head. Their menu prices have gone up slightly compared to another photo you might find in reviews but it is still great prices for great food and lovely service, staff went out of their way for me and made sure to say goodbye even when they were enjoying their own lunch! Would recommend, even the coffee was lovely :"

"best ice creams in some and salford around a mile. the cone is excellent, the dark chocolate decoration is delicate and a beautiful note, but the ice. the gelato omg. there is no cake to describe how good it is. I jumped all the time of happiness while I ate this ice. I want to try again. the vegan options were decent (I think 4 options, two fruity sorbets and two creamy, nutella and lotus.) I am so happy that this place exists. how is it possible that some have a million Neapolitan pizza restaurants, but no decent gelato options?"
