This charming tearoom is simply fantastic, offering truly delicious food in a lovely setting. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, the highlight has to be the fantastic selection of cakes.

I recently discovered this amazing gem of a restaurant. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is absolutely fantastic. The views from the tea room are breathtaking, with a beautiful lake in sight. I will definitely be returning in the future!

A very pleasant environment and atmostphere, with helpful and obliging staff. A great place for a de-stress and catch-up. Food here is plentifulm fresh and excellent quality. There's a good selection of light meals, cakes and soft/hot drinks. I can't think of anything to say about the place that might be negative...

We visited with our Mum for a light bite lunch stop after hearing about it from other people The whole set up was amazing very country cottage style, the food was absolutely delicious, so many choices too! Lovely tearoom tucked away in the countryside. Clearly popular with those in the know, it’s a true hidden gem. We had the afternoon tea, pre booked a day earlier. It was delicious. The bread was lovely and fresh, cake moist and scones still warm. Lots of jam and cream too. Couldn’t fault the food and the service was even better. Very friendly and polite. It was refreshing to have an afternoon tea that had clearly been made only minutes earlier from good quality ingredients, at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Having driven past this place many times and not visiting, we felt we ought to give it a try. On arriving we were not impressed by it 's slightly tatty appearance, but were given a warm welcome by the staff. We decided to sit outside as it was a pleasant sunny day, the tables could do with some TLC and the parasols provided were just shoved through holes in the table and left at an angle. For company we had had 10 or so ducks a goose and annoyingly several wasps. I took my elderly mother for a meal and some tea at this restaurant. The tea room is small but charming, with colorful decor and lovely tablecloths. Upon entering, we were greeted by a long counter filled with a variety of delicious cakes displayed under glass. Each cake was labeled, which was helpful. Outside, there are picnic tables with umbrellas where you can sit and enjoy the company of geese, ducks, chickens, and even a black lamb, which is sure to entertain children. We ordered a pot of tea for two, which provided us with plenty of cups, and decided on bacon and avocado salads for our meal. The salads were a good size and beautifully presented.
