"This restaurant was situated on a boat moored on the Quayside. So the setting was lovely. Service was good but did seem to be a bit overstretched. The food we chose was excellent, prepared, cooked and presented to a high standard. The set menu was a bit limited and although it had a fixed price, almost half the main dishes came at premium incurring an extra cost. We found the atmosphere/ambience quite loud. This was mainly due to the echoing acoustics. Not really the clientèle although there were a few loud individuals enjoying their Wine to the full."

Once again we had a great evening with delicious food, wine and service at the Mariner’s tonight. It’s an excellent venue on the wonderful Ipswich Waterfront.

We dine at this restaurant frequently and are always pleased. The staff is friendly and pays great attention to detail. The presentation and quality of the food is excellent, and the whole dining experience is enhanced by the picturesque location overlooking the marina.

I recently visited Mariners for a belated birthday celebration. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. I highly recommend trying the Visor beer. Overall, I would give the dining experience a rating of 5 for both the food and service, as well as the atmosphere.

The set menu seemed like a good value, but we were disappointed to find that the a la carte menu listed online was not available. One of our group ordered the fish cake as a main course, which cost £25.95, but was not given the £2 discount as advertised. This felt misleading and left us feeling a bit ripped off.

The food at Mariners is excellent and served in a unique atmosphere. I highly recommend paying them a visit. The service was top-notch, with a dinner meal costing around £40–50 per person. I rated the food a 5 out of 5 and the service a 5 as well. The atmosphere was a 4 out of 5. I suggest trying the Creme Brulee and the Pan Fried Seabass with Mussels.

The food at this restaurant was great. The scallops and duck were exceptional, but the steak was disappointing. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with a lot of choices. I would definitely like to come back again in the future. The service was good, rated 4 out of 5, and the overall atmosphere was also rated 5 out of 5. The average price per person for dinner was between £30-40.

What a lovely restaurant. We have often admired it's setting but this time I booked for a birthday meal. We weren't disappointed. The ambience is lovely and the staff friendly and not over attentive. The highlight however had to be the food excellent. There were so many delicious sounding things on the menu it was hard to choose but what we had was presented beautifully, cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. Cannot say enough good things about this place if you have the chance you must go!
