"I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! I called at 1:15 PM to confirm they were open and mentioned we would arrive in 15 minutes. I requested them to have coffee ready, and it was waiting for us when we arrived. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely amazing. The ambiance made it our favorite spot near Retford. Whether you're looking for silver service or bar meals, the food is top-notch, and the service is fantastic. Overall, I rate the service 5 out of 5 and the location 5 out of 5 as well. One of the highlights is how quiet the hotel is. Highly recommend!"

Fabulous food Food drinks: Went to the restaurant instead of having a bar meal. Staff so polite and friendly. Enjoyed it all. Will be back even though it’s a long way from where we live.

I recently attended the Japanese Taster Night, and it was fantastic! The food was delightful, and the service was excellent. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. I highly recommend this event; the quality of the food was superb. It was an amazing evening!

We stopped at this pub to charge the car and had the best time! It's very convenient for a pit-stop off the A1 where it meets the A57. I would definitely recommend; the service was super friendly welcoming to children, the food quick, and when it arrived was fresh and delicious! Honestly, even the chips and onion rings had clearly been freshly chopped and fried, they were a revelation! A bit of a gem. My family and I stayed here for two nights to attend a nearby wedding. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was truly outstanding. I’d like to give a special shout-out to the wonderful gentleman who drove us to the wedding venue when we couldn't find a taxi, as well as the lovely lady who served us breakfast. The dining room had a fantastic atmosphere in the evening, and it's no surprise that the themed tasting nights are so popular. If we lived closer, this would definitely be one of our favorite spots.
