The staff were wonderful, and the food was excellent. We dined in for breakfast, and the total cost per person was between £20 and £30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5.

Lovely calm airy café away from the hustle of the roads. Dog friendly which was really appreciated come upstairs and sit on the comfy sofas by the open window to the little close behind the cafe, and enjoy the high wooden beamed ceiling and a nice light lunch and cup of coffee. This charming traditional tea room offers a gluten-free menu featuring a delightful selection of soups, sandwiches, scones, cakes, and afternoon tea. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. They have a dedicated food processing area, and the bread is roasted in bags to ensure there is no cross-contamination. Highly recommended!

However, while we were eating, she abruptly turned off the lights and closed the windows, even though it was still very warm and uncomfortable. It felt incredibly rude, as it seemed she was eager to leave for the day. We ended up leaving before the tearoom officially closed. The good food was overshadowed by the staff member's offensive behavior. I would suggest she consider a job that she enjoys, possibly one that doesn’t involve dealing with customers, or perhaps take a course in customer service to learn some basic manners. - Jonathan Speisekarte ansehen
