"We frequently visit this restaurant for Sunday lunch because, in my opinion, it is the best around. The quality and variety of food options are excellent, and the menu changes regularly. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, especially when it comes to catering to my gluten-free needs as a coeliac. The setting is beautiful, with lovely views. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"We were delighted to be able to secure a booking at this busy restaurant, as we had heard good reports and we were not disappointed. We were given a warm welcome and when presented with the specials menu we were spoilt for choice. The food was very well presented and very tasty too two of us chose chicken in pancetta and one the duck with beetroot, both dishes were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The pulled chicken tarragon balls were delicious and would make a great bar snack or part of a tapas selection. There were three of us dining so we tried all three deserts and found it hard to choose our favourite but the salted caramel and dark chocolate cup won in the end. Great food, good atmosphere we'll definitely be back well done ..!!"

"Literally the worst meal we have ever had! We have been here many times over the years and have always loved the atmosphere. As soon as we went in the lad said that there were five things missing off the menu, something about they had been so busy that they hadn't been able to get to the suppliers, should have known then! I ordered a cheeseburger with chips and onion rings, ny husband asked for the fish finger sandwich with coleslaw. They came, but with no coleslaw or onion rings. I pointed it out and was told there was no coleslaw, but he would cook me an onion ring. The burger was tiny, the bun it came in was stale and hard and the chips were cold. My husband said his sandwich looked like the stuff that you find in all the ice at the bottom of your freezer and tasted odd and I didn't want to say, but it looked raw and grey. The poor lads behind the bar looked like rabbits caught in the headlights cos they could tell we weren't happy, we just wanted to leave, so we paid and left and will not go back. It says online that they serve food all day, but a group of people came in and they were refused food an the place was not busy at all. Very strange way of conducting a business and a great pity."

"Lovely calm airy café away from the hustle of the roads. Dog friendly which was really appreciated come upstairs and sit on the comfy sofas by the open window to the little close behind the cafe, and enjoy the high wooden beamed ceiling and a nice light lunch and cup of coffee. Easy and stress free, freshly made food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"Great for takeout! We had the lovely vegetable risotto dolcellatte and primo pizza, which surprisingly worked really well for takeout. A couple mins in the oven to warm up after we collected was no problem. Lovely staff and great service. Takeout using just-eat is so helpful for those who are older and less able to sit for an evening meal, but still want to enjoy some lovely Italian food! Vegetarian options: Primo pizza and dolcelatte risotto are both good.
