"This is in essence a good characterful restaurant in an old building with good food and drink. On the evening we were there it was not full as it was after New Year, but the service was a little strange and disjointed. The person who served us was just helping out so he tended to have to refer queries, but he was cheerful and pleasant in himself. The Manager seemed to range from attentive to disinterested to the point that he didn't even thank us for pointing out to him that he had missed half our drinks off the bill. The menu though, which was very fish-based, was fine and we enjoyed the food. Worth a visit."

This is one of the best vegan fish and chips dishes I have ever tasted. The "fish" really resembled real fish! The interior of the restaurant had a cool vibe as well.

A beautiful place, beautiful location, beautiful staff and atmosphere. The vegan fish and chips are dying. There are not many vegan options, but is made by the quality of vegan fish and chips.

Amazing vegan fish and chips. Huge portion of lightly coated crispy banana blossom “fish”. Super fluffy and crispy chips and all the trimmings were just amazing too. Best curry sauce and tartar sauce I’ve ever had. I would give this 5 star rating on the app if that were possible.

This restaurant is simply charming with a beautiful setting, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere. The vegan fish and chips are absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying. Although there aren't a wide variety of vegan options available, the high quality of the vegan fish and chips more than makes up for it.
