"On a recent trip to Spain we decided to explore the Galícia region. We did a drive along the coast after leaving A Coruña and happened upon the town of Malpica de Bergantinos. By the time we had gotten there we were both a bit hungry so we decided to have lunch. We walked through the quaint seaside town and there were a number of restaurants, but it seemed like a lot of locals were taking their lunch at A Taberna de Lesto, so we thought we would check it out. The setting is simple with a nautical theme and wooden stools and chairs and the staff is very friendly. The menu accordingly had a lot of seafood in a variety of styles. We ordered a number of things to share, including the pulpo, and everything was fantastic. The seafood was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. Additionally, everything was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting or passing through Malpica de Bergantinos!"

"San Francisco is a seafood restaurant in Malpica de Bergantiños, the first town in Costa do Morte, in Galicia Region. We came here to dinner with friends and we decided to share some local seafood dishes like buey de mar (local crab), percebes (local seafood), zamburiñas (local scallops) and caldeirada de pulpo (octopus stew). All really was excellent. Also I ate a cheese cake as dessert and Treixadura grapes white wine. Amazing!"

"La Costa da Morte ofrece una buena variedad y calidad gastronomíca, además de regalar a la vista y los sentidos una geografía hermosa y bastante virgen. Entre varios destinos merece una buena mención el pueblo de Malpica su variopinta y particular construcción para salvaguardar a la gente trabajadora del mar del Atlántico y su violencia en días de mar revuelto . Entre todo este placer para los sentidos, hemos parado en Bar Ybarra. Primero , buena atención Segundo , raciones generosas Tercero , rápido y eficiente. El pulpo estaba muy bien , sabroso y en su punto, los chipirones geniales. Nos han recomendado la cantidad y con buen criterio, hemos salido bien comidos y como apunte , el café está bueno. Recomendable."

"We were on vacation for a week in Malpica and I looked for a good restaurant to go to dinner with my partner and my in-laws, and what a success, incredible food with a lot of fusion of flavors, perhaps I would put a little more quantity, but it shows that you are paying for quality. An incredible service with the waitress who advised us and made us a very pleasant time, it shows that she knows the subject and that at least she has made an effort to understand what she is selling (otherwise I heard her speak English and she has a very good level!, so if you need a menu in English they also have and someone who knows how to explain about the place and food A beautiful decoration that puts you in the coastal and warm atmosphere that Malpica gives, very careful details and using products and decoration from the area. We are delighted, if we return to Malpica we know where to go to enjoy a good dinner! :"
