it was ok, after visiting pere lachaise Cemetery. We had the plat du jour. It was ok. the prices are reasonable for Paris But nothing spectacular,

Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce café en sortant de notre visite du cimetière du père Lachaise. Accueil chaleureux. Prix corrects. Plats savoureux mais pourrait mieux faire sur la présentation. Speisekarte ansehen

Stopped by here for a late lunch and a drink after seeing Pere Lachaise. Great location and comfortable inside, but overpriced enough not to make me want to go back. Food was only so-so as well.

En quittant le Père Lachaise à l'heure du déjeuner, la faim nous tenaillant, nous avons poussé la porte de l'Obododo sans savoir à quoi nous attendre. Nous ne l'avons pas regretté! Intérieur, serveuse, cuisine familiale: le tout fut chaleureux! A conseiller, le couscous et les tartes maison: un délice!

This was our lunch stop after Pere Lachaise. It's decorated in a really homely style that's super friendly and really comfy. I had a Vegan salad (basically a ham salad with no ham). The meal was ok...the fruits and veg I had in the salad could have been better...but overall the meal was good and the service was excellent. Speisekarte ansehen

Самое ближайшее кафе Père Lachaise. Мои опасения по поводу его функций в связи с его расположением развеялись мгновенно. Уютное кафе, плавно переключающее настояние со скорбного на жизнеутверждающее. Все просто, съедобно и элегантно по-французски.Персонал приветливый и профессиональный. Официант вежливо и тактично предостерёг мою жену от заказа тартара, за что ему особенная благодарность. Стоимость обеда с бутылкой вина в два раза ниже чем в центре Парижа. Красота.

We tried to stop for a beer today after visiting the cemetery in 20 degrees heat. In contrast to other places in Paris,nobody said hello when we arrived. The waiter first cleaned a table next to us then served another table, took and delivered orders, without even giving us menus. I was still ok but then he chose to serve a newly arrived couple instead of us, allthough we were there for 10 mins, so we left. We had a much better time at a place by the Metro. PS while we were there we saw someone come to the bar to get a refill on some beers, I guess they also got tired of waiting.

We were renting an apartment in the neighbourhood; on our first night we stopped by around 9 pm because the menu looked reasonably priced (9.50€ quiche w/salad -12.50€ steak), good selection of beer on-tap (Stella, Hogaarten, etc.), and soccer on one TV tastefully placed in the back). My parents (fussy 65 y.o.'s) ordered Lemon Chicken (skewers of roast chicken w/salad & diced potatoes + shot glass of aromatic sauce), my daughter (9 y.o. Foodie) ordered Lasagna (delicately allspiced ragu, bechamel, light noodles w/salad), my husband (purist chef) ordered the salmon & spinach quiche (hearty serving,melt-in-your-mouth light), and I had the salmon (grilled w/rice & shot glass of light lemon-dill...
