Food here is ok but I had a bad experience with service. It took more than 30 minutes to the waiter takes our order and almost 1 hour to arrive the dishes, and arrived not very hot. The check included an extra bottle of wine we didn’t order that was removed afterwards but the waiter took a while to trust it was a mistake.

Location buona e comoda se visiti Barolo. Hanno molti tavoli all’aperto. Il cameriere ci ha consigliato bene il vino secondo le nostre richieste. Il rapporto qualità prezzo e’ giusto. Consiglio la lingua, e’ davvero morbidissima!! Abbiamo scelto anche l’aggiunta di tartufo nero al costo di 8€ per 8 grammi. Ottima esperienza

Buon posto dove gustare ottimi piatti locali. Tutto buonissimo e impiattato bene. Ottimo vitello tonnato e plin al sugo d'arrosto sublimi. Davvero interessanti anche gli gnocchi alle melanzane con ricotta e mandorle. Dolci veramente buoni. Porzioni giuste e prezzo in linea con la qualità. Personale davvero gentile e professionale. Cute, cozy environment! My fiancé and I were welcomed warmly as it was a slow, quiet night in town. We ordered the octopus to share as an app, and two pasta dishes for the primi. The waiter there was kind enough to recommend a wine pairing to go with the meal. The wine paired quite nicely, especially with the octopus. The pasta dishes left quite a bit to be desired. The pasta texture was off, and the dishes were poorly seasoned. Oh well! Dessert was nice, the staff was charming, the ambiance was cute. Maybe we ordered wrong.

Wow. On recommendation we stopped in on our hike at lunchtime, although the restaurant closes at 3 pm, we arrived at 2:30, we were warmly welcomed. Small and very fine the restaurant presents itself, the map is very regional, super fresh, small and of select quality. The wine list is opulent (are in Barolo) and the service is discreet , unobtrusive and very accommodating. We had the mixed appetizer platter, Agnolotti del Plin with white truffle for our main course and a 21 Nebbiolo from Carlo Giacosa for our wine. BOOM! Highly recommended.

Our family with two kids (4 and 0 years old) wanted to have diner in Osteria la cantinella on a early Friday evening. The restaurant was empty. As we were early, we ordered drinks. Our kids were hungry and therefore started to cry. However, before we could order our food, the waiter threw us out without giving us any warning! According to him, we were too loud and not fitting in the „gourmet“ restaurant (which was empty except of one other couple). A group of 17 other people decided not to go to this restaurant after they saw what has happened to us. I have never seen and experienced a worse and family-hostile location! Do not go there!
