There were nine of us. We didn't book of table before but I but I had been to this restaurant two weeks earlier, so we thought we'd try. Two weeks ago everything was just perfect and it was the same again. Food was just so tasty fresh, playful and beautiful. Staff is wonderful, sweet, helpful and sooooo nice. We really love it.

We liked the place so much that we visited it each day during our stay in Barcelona. We have tried a lot of food from the menu and all sorts of drinks and everything was always just delicious. We loved the interiors and great music, service was also perfect each time we were there. I totally recommend to drop by for a food if you are around.

The place has a comfortable relaxed atomosphere. Friendly and good service. Food being pushed as small and therefore one is told to order extra dishes. No reason for such small portions for the prices being charged. A tapas bar under the pretension of being a bistro. Food is okay but not exceptional, could be a lot better with a bit more effort. Unassuming, hip, relaxed vibe. Lots of both sleek and shaggy young professionals as well as some well turned out diners. A welcome large selection of imaginative vegetarian gourmet entrees and tapas. Compares favorably with the best of the neighborhood competition, including a couple of entries from the Adrian Ferra family. The special cocktail of the day was outstanding vodka, pineapple, passion fruit, lime, coconut; sweet, with a bite. You might not be able to stop drinking them!

We visited this spot on our first night in Barcelona and it set the bar pretty high. This is a quirky spot with fun decor. The drinks menu is extensive with lots of cocktail options. We also opted for two tapas dishes, one was duck and the other I can't recall specifically but it had cheese in it. The prices are a little higher compared to a lot of spots in the area but the food was very good (if small portions). The reason for a 4 stars instead of 5 was service was a bit slow and we had to ask a few times to order. Other than that it was a nice visit.

We happened upon this place on a Friday night when most of the popular places were fully booked and were pleasantly surprised. My wife and I enjoyed the music, vibe and crowd and shared 4 dishes, and each had one of their house cocktails. The salmon, Gorgonzola, curry chicken and potato tapas were all very tasty and more unique than you will find in a run of the mill, touristy tapas place and most folks seemed more like locals. The service was less than outgoing but I honestly think that the staff struggles with English and is shy trying to use it. But they are definitely proficient and even nice if you get them to relax a little. Definitely give this place a try! Speisekarte ansehen

We rolled in late on Monday evening in search of pudding. We were more or less the only people there and wondered if we would be served at such a late hour. But we were welcomed warmly by a charming waitress. The decor is quirky and stylish and the service, friendly. We ordered a chocolate mousse between two of us and a glass of cava each. The chocolate mousse was probably the best I've ever tasted...very dense, but not heavy, stodgy or sicky sweet and still moussey with a hefty dusting of chocolate powder on top. After having been to Tainos a number of times and having had a party there...always spending quite a lot, this time tonight will be the last time. I went with a friend and we ordered 8 glasses of red wine and various tapas to eat. When the bill came we had been charged per glass. When we had mentioned this earlier to the waitress, she had made a snarky comment about 'you 'll know better next time! ' We asked if instead we could pay for a bottle as we had obviously consumed one. We were told it was impossible as it 'had gone through the system... ' This is a bar, not a multinational! Only open as a restaurant, cafe, bar for two months when we visited in late October 2014. The passionate owner stressed to us that her chefs creations were all made in house with fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. We were after some late afternoon Tapa and a drink to stay us over until a late dinner. Our hotel was around the corner (Market Hotel) and we had just jumped off the bus from Park Guell.
