Perraudin - Speisekarte

We enjoyed the food at this restaurant very much, especially the boeuf bourguignon. It was an authentic place that has been in business for some time. The staff was friendly, probably more so because I speak French. Their menu could be expanded some to include some more choices.

friendly setting (bistrot type), quality food (delicious marrow bone)!, menu at 19€ with entry / dish / dessert very reasonable. Too bad that the reception and the service is not up to it. We almost feel like we're in trouble when we get here, not a little kind word or a smile, short 0/20 on that side.

I rented a apartment around the corner and went there on first evening (jet lag obliged).Food was excellent, very friendly staff. Decided to make it my "neighborhood" restaurant while in town. Doesn't break the bank. Went a second time with friends from Paris who agreed with my impression of the Perraudin.

Visited here for a Sunday lunch. Three solid courses, the main was a chocroute which was tasty, filling and almost too much to finish! Dessert was a lovely creme cramel. Service was fine and the place got quite busy with locals which is always a good sign. I speak reasonable French so no problem with communication. Worth visiting for sure.

We were walking in the Latin quarter, looking for a suitable place for dinner. Although this place looks inviting, we were almost put off as there was only one other table occupied.I'm so glad we stuck with our first impression!This is a cozy traditional bistro. The menu offered many French favourites and of course reasonable wine. Service was very good and we could not figure out why it is not a lot more busy - sure hope that changes for them!

Paurraudin was a disappointment, in this neighborhood where good restaurants are plentiful. The menu was limited and uninspired. The roast chicken was rubbery, and the lamb was tough; both main courses were unacceptable by the standards of all the other casual bistros where we dined in Paris. Wine by the glass was good, and generously poured. Staff were professional and efficient. With so many other places to dine, I would give this one a miss.

We first ate in Perraudin 10 years ago when staying close by. We were thrilled to find the restaurant again (we did not have the name or address, only a general recollection of the area); This restaurant offers a wide menu of traditional dishes (we enjoyed onion soup/foie gras for starters and beef tartare and beef carpaccio for mains). The food is perfectly prepared, the staff are friendly and helpful and the clientele a mix of locals and visitors. Perraudin offers great food at reasonable prices.

a very sad veal head with only potatoes (where are the small pears, carrots and other turnips) supported by a high quality gribiche sauce. Perraudin salad is very average, foie gras was missing cooking, shrimp was really not great but salmon was honest. Ice and quality burnt cream, but what about tatin pie? ah yes, insipid paste, apples without pretention but the whole is much too cooked, balance aspect not staunch and bad taste. very basic service without a smile. Plus we like to hear that the desserts at the table of the regulars next to you are offered while you, ben you pay yours. So go only if you're accustomed or hungry.

I was told about the burgundy beef in this place, so I couldn't miss it so I decided to go there one night. My biggest decantation was the price of the cup of champagne this one has been charged 16 € which is totally shameful, in comparison the burgund is charged 19,80 € to make a parallel it is to be noted that in the coffee of flora the cup of champagne is charged 18 €. I can admit I still haven't digested this aperitif. concerning the burgundy dish it must be admitted that it is excellent, if one wants to be purist I would say that the bacon are not useful and that the dish is slightly too salty. Finally as confirmed by many reviews the reception is deplorable.
