Everything was delicious the huge squishy French toast with berries and pistachio was perfect while the less sweet toothed amongst us loved the shakshuka. I could have eaten absolutely everything on the menu

I am fed to travel to this restaurant because it is closed for a lot of reasons, often as it is open. they serve great food, but it is a pity that they do not seem to have the engagement for their customers. After I came out for the third time and called the day before, I won't be back!

beautiful lunch in sunny potarch. the feta salad with local vegetables from the annoying and the wild venison loin sandwich and venison burger were delicious. the roasted cheese and the black pudding sandwich were gone in minutes. we all enjoyed the chips too! the personal is friendly and accommodating. beautiful delicious local cuisine and friendly staff.

Wow. Not been here since it was under new management by the Nichols. And what a wonderful, friendly, cafe it is with superb food coming out of the kitchen. My wife had the posh homemade fish finger butty and I had the pulled pork with dauphinoise potatoes and a perfectly poached egg on top. Proper home baked cheesecake and coffee followed before we waddled off! Definitely our new go to place. Highly recommended.

This is the best coffee in Deeside in our opinion. Thomas (Proprietor) is a lovely chap and hugely experienced barista who takes immense price is his craft and roaster selection. The local fresh produce, particularly wild venison and carefully compiled menus are excellent, as are...the friendly and attentive staff. Potties has had many different offerings over the years but the new proprietors are serving up an amazing blend of local and market leading produce. Love it!

potarch cafe is a fantastic place with delicious food and coffee on the menus. Recently renovated, the caffe is cozy, with a log burner, comfortable chairs and beautiful plants on each sill. the acidic dough breakfasts are amazing. I would recommend the venison...sausage sandwich, made with venison from the ballogy estate. the sourdough is made by thomas, who also makes a killer cup coffee. the service and the personal are friendly and welcoming and they can then enjoy a beautiful walk through the river dee.

A wonderful place to visit in an idyllic location near the river Dee. We stayed in the area for a few days and went for walks around and a visit to Loch Muick, however the cafe would be well worth the trip from Aberdeen for...the day or as an excuse to stay nearby. The cafe is by a green with swings for children and is dog friendly with ample parking. The staff at Potarch are very welcoming and the service was exemplary. The cafe is a Scottish haven with a cosy interior, lovely decor and beautiful plants. A wood burner in the corner must be ideal on colder days but we were lucky to visit when the weather was warm.
