Really great service Taq was so friendly, helpful and honest in advising us on what dishes we might like and they even made us a dish that wasn't on the menu that my partner fancied. Food was lovely. We used a Tastecard so amazing value for money. Had a great chat with Taq as well will be back again one day

Went at a quiet early evening in February. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful and the food was very good. Portions were generous. Only negative was that the room was rather cold and could do with a little work to improve the ambiance. On a crowded evening I am sure it would be a better atmosphere.

I had missed out on this restaurant during the first lockdown period. However, when I recently ordered takeout, the food was just as delicious as I remembered. They offer a wide variety of gluten-free options. The delivery was done by their own staff, who followed social distancing guidelines perfectly. Amazing experience! Thank you, I highly recommend this place!

We visited first in October last year and were determined to return on our next trip to Glasgow. Excellent food again this second time with our choice guided by very helpful staff. He told us that the portions were generous. True, it prevented us ordering wasteful extras. Just less than £60 fed three of us quite amply. What a shame this place is not in our home city. Roll on visit number 3!

After reading reviews about this restaurant, my friend and I decided to visit and see if it lived up to the hype. And boy, did it exceed our expectations! This is the top Indian restaurant in Glasgow. The service was exceptional - we even had a great chat with the owner for 30 minutes; he was so humble and down-to-earth. The food was outstanding, with authentic Indian spices that really made it stand out. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Visited here multiple times with my partner, family and friends. Would recommend it to any one who likes Indian food, my favourite in Glasgow by far! Punjabi Garlic Chilli is the one I’d recommend to everyone, pakora is delicious too. The staff are very helpful when ordering food and offer recommendations! The owner is great and will accommodate any changes to dishes that you require! Overall it always gets a 10/10 from us when visiting, definitely recommend!

Me and my mate went to this fantastic Indian restaurant the other night. The Noori and Rogan Josh we had were by far the best curry we’ve ever eaten and after trying Spiced onions for the first time we fell in love with it. The lamb we both had in the curry was very tender and had lots of flavour. The staff were incredible friendly, who we had a great chat with about the restaurant amongst other things. We hope to be coming back to Glasgow some time in the summer, and we will definitely be coming here for another meal.

After hearing positive reviews about this restaurant, my girlfriend and I decided to order takeout and try it for ourselves. We were pleased with our meal. For appetizers, we had haggis pakora which was delicious, especially with the dips. For the main course, my girlfriend ordered lamb tikka and I ordered south Indian garlic chilli chicken. Both dishes were flavorful, although I would have liked more garlic and chili. The peshwari nan was excellent. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would definitely order again or visit the restaurant to try more dishes.

Another successful curry night was had here at the Pedlar and Spice. By that I don't mean that this was a repeat visit; I mean that it was a good choice for the group I was with, who go for regular curry nights and always try to find somewhere new. I chose this restaurant for a number of reasons, but mainly because it had such good reviews. We were not disappointed. Taq was a fantastic host, and he kept us right with how many rices and naan breads to order. He also suggested sharing starters, and my goodness, the chicken wings were the tastiest chicken wings any of us had ever had! Even for the folk who don't normally go for chicken wings, like me! I was quite happy to get stuck in once ever...
