Riddle & Finns is a lovely restaurant tucked away on the seafront that offers delicious seafood and great customer service.

I recalled Riddle & Finns from back when I was living the UK, so when I found myself in Brighton for the weekend, I made of point of coming back here for

The fish and seafood here are exceptionally fresh and delicious. The staff is excellent, and they offer a great selection of wine. It's best to arrive early, as it can be difficult to get a table without waiting for a day.

Our server Reece was very attentive and every dish was a 10/10! I’d recommend the apple scallops Dover sole but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They also bring you a bread basket with lovely dips such as market pate which is a lovely touch.

The service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was decent but not the best seafood we've had. The oysters were fresh, although we've had better elsewhere, and the ceviche was great, while most of the other dishes were just average. I recommend sticking to the starters, tapas, and oysters. This is a stand out restaurant with a spectacular elevated view. The clam chowder hits the spot on a windy day. We had the grilled octopus and calamari. The bread basket came with 4 condiments! We also had a crisp South African wine which was recommended by our server. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

There are two Riddle Finn locations in Brighton, one in the Lanes and another on the beach. I chose to visit the beach location for the view and was fortunate to get a table outside (I went on a Monday). The oysters were outstanding, and the seafood pasta was delicious as well. I would probably skip the salmon starter; it was good but not my favorite. Overall, the service was excellent—every waiter was very friendly and welcoming! I would definitely return!

we had the most amazing dinner here. I don't know how you can only give it 5 stars. the appetizers we had were particularly good: we had the lemon petersilie scallops and the huge gambas (see photos). for the first we had healed that was also excellent and the monk-shrine that was good, but did not go. the service was also excellent! the only annoying is that they can't book a table and they must leave their names and they'll be called when a table is free. we went around 6.45 and had to wait for 1.45 o'clock my advice would be to get there early. so delicious, although it was worth it!
