Excellent quality service. They thoroughly confirmed that everything I inquired about was gluten-free and made sure the kitchen staff was aware of my dietary needs. They didn't hassle us, but did check to ensure the food was satisfactory. The staff was attentive, polite, and friendly, making me feel welcome rather than a nuisance for asking about gluten-free options.

Ordered online. Website stated 30 minutes delivery 45 minutes later contacted restaurant to be told it is on its way. 15 minutes later still no food. Phoned again. Finally delivered 60 minutes later than promised and food arrived cold. Phone restaurant to request refund was told I was lying and they hung up. Won't be ordered from this company again. "five star service is not exactly what they expect when entering the cheese yard restaurant, but it is very true, it is a very casual place and very secret, it is not a pub more of a super market caffe, although it leads down a land road that leads to nowhere apart from beautiful landscape walks and an amazing outsight on the glasston torbury. it is definitiw a hidden gem and eating in the offer is like her mother does, really crispy kartoffels or chips and generous portions, perfect place to meet family and friends for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tee with a selection of amazing cakes. I had also mentioned dog friendly and I mean that so much fuss was made from my 2 puggies that they felt like celebrities. I can't wait to come back."

"Excellent restaurant in former pub. There is a pretty courtyard garden, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. They serve authentic and delicious Greek food. Service is impeccable. I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was by how they coped with my garlic allergy. They talked me through the menu, made special garlic-free food for me, thought proactively about related foods which might cause a problem for me, and gave me very reassurance throughout the meal, so I was able to relax completely and enjoy my food. A shining example of how to handle allergies. Brilliant!"

"A little bit run down in places but that seems to be Wookey Hole in general. Popped in for a cup of tea after some caving and the service was great. They weren't serving food at the time but as we had mentioned cake, they were very accommodating and happy to serve us something from the pudding menu. Good selection of old games to play while sitting there. (Probably for kids but we are big kids, and who doesn't love Connect 4)"

"when we arrived in this restaurant, we were set off from the entrance that almost decided to go elsewhere. the skeleton that has not been erected recently was the first impression we were facing, but we have done this courageously and I am delighted that we did. we were met at the door by a very warm welcome and directed at our table. the service and the personal enthusiasm gave a feeling of expectation that was filled with a fairly standard menu, but the best was to come. the quality and presentation of each course was in my opinion very good and many of the local events could learn a lot from this family business and this made our visit an a1 event. well done they hope his shame that we live as far away as we would be regular customers. come on them somerset people and make them this a must try event we gave our visit 10 of 10"

"excellent meal and service. warm friendly reception on a dry wet Sunday with a beautiful atmosphere inside. attentive staff with drinks and dips that arrive immediately. Sunday roast (bef or black) was a real tasty bite with yorkshire puddings, bratkartoffeln, kohl, green bean, cauliflower cheese and gravy. also hot. gloomy were all nice, but the pavlowa was great! would recommend this as a great place to go and good value for money."
