we've eaten a few times here and it'll be my favorite place. eating is delicious and not too expensive. there is something for everyone, even for my children. the personal is attentive and friendly. we'll be back soon!

very nice pub, fantastic eating and service. would recommend 100% to everyone. very courteous and friendly staff, fantastic with children. visited while on holiday will hopefully be back before we go. will definitely visit again when I'm here on vacation.

I took my daughter and six of her friends here for lunch last Saturday, and it was a fantastic afternoon. The staff beautifully decorated their table at no extra charge, and nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. The signature burger offered a nice balance between the savory juices of the meat and the sweetness of the chutney. The chips and coleslaw were rather ordinary, and the building felt quite warm. Overall, the cost per person was between £10 and £20. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3.

Ambiance was warm and cosy. The food was excellent and most of all the service by the lady at front of house made the evening. I only visited the Rose and Crown because I received a 30% voucher through the mail. I was pleasantly surprised with our meal, I ordered Scampi and chips, the Scampi was cooked to perfection and the chips were really crispy and tasty so much so I did think about ordering a side of chips as well I will definitely be returning with or without a voucher.
