"Good place to start a few days in Paris, went on our first night because we had been before and hoped it was still as good. No worries, it was exactly the same with the same lady serving, probably the owner, who was just as cheerful and funny as ever. We both had chicken and chips with a side order of green beans. The chicken was succulent and done perfectly with far more taste than the offerings we get in the UK. (Why is it French chicken is so much tastier than here? The chips are true french fries, long and thin and very crispy, and the green beans still have a bit of crunch, not over cooked till their to soft, and come with a light sprinkling of garlic and a kind of sauce. They are absolutely delicous if you like a touch of garlic, but I apreciate not every one does so avoid if you are not a garlaholic. I had the pain perdu for desert which was one of the best I have had, the partner had the chocolate mousse which came like it had just been dumped in a bowl but my partner assured me it was very tasty. We deffinately recomend this tradditional place for the food and friendlynes of the staff."

we were looking for something less expensive than the place closer to the hotel. that's right for the bill. the eating was good, although my escargot was not evenlicky enough for my taste, it was a good, inexpensive meal. my man touched his escape command and I had pasta carbonara.

Good location. Too bad no longer serves coffee after 6 p.m. but above all the service needs to be improved. Not up to Parisian prestige. Everyone is running and getting agitated, sometimes with mood swings towards customers or colleagues. We feel obliged to hurry to consume to leave, even though the price paid is high (more than 5 euros for a Coke).
