Salsa Mexican Bistro

We absolutely loved it here when we visited as part of my birthday celebrations. Friendly staff, quick service and loved all our food choices and beers too. Reasonably priced and would definitely return if we stay in Penrith again.

Our party was made up of vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters and there was plenty of choice for all. The food was delicious with plenty of it. A great atmosphere and staff were very attentive. Well worth a visit you will not be disappointed.

We visited last night (Saturday evening) a group of 6 adults. The restaurant was very busy with a buzzy atmosphere. The service was very good, the food tasty (very large portions). We all agreed that it was great value for money. I am sure the...next time we are in the area we will be returning.

Came for New Year's Eve meal whilst on holiday in Penrith. Was a set meal and food was really good, especially the starters. Good atmosphere and drinks. The guy serving us was very personable and we had a chat about previous New Years in Penrith...and how the town seemed quiet in comparison this year. Would definitely recommend

We dined at this restaurant tonight and it was amazing. We enjoyed the beef burrito, chicken tacos, and king prawn fajitas. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The cocktails were also outstanding. The service was fast and all the female staff members in the restaurant provided excellent service. We will definitely be returning.

We stopped off here and got a takeaway. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the food was made fresh and it was tasty and offered fantastic vegan options (lots of veg options rather than lots of meat substitutes). We got a bunch of things and...shared it like tapas. The only criticism would be it was a tad dry (could have used some salsa vegan soured cream) and pricey (no discount for taking away) but would still return however we would choose to sit in as it had a lovely vibe inside.

I love Mexican and Tex-Mex food. I ordered chips and salsa, chicken fajitas, veggie, and goat cheese burritos. The food was very tasty. I used to live in San Diego and am accustomed to the real deal, and this place delivered. The desserts were also delicious, with my partner choosing chocolate truffles and me indulging in churros. The churros were a bit undercooked and doughy, but still enjoyable. The staff were all friendly and the service was quick and efficient. Although it's a bit far for a regular visit, I would like to return. Next time we pass through, we'll definitely stop by again.

I have been a patron of this restaurant for a while now, but unfortunately, my visits have been interrupted due to the COVID-19 restrictions. The staff members were excellent, and the restaurant itself was visually stunning. The food was decent, but I was hoping for more in terms of flavor (which could be subjective). I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere and requested some chili sauce, but the options provided were not to my liking. I would suggest that they offer some authentic Mexican chili sauces to customers seeking some extra flavor and spice. My favorites were the chili bites and the blue corn tacos.

Me and my boyfriend come here almost weekly for our date night, we absolutely love it every time! The staff are so friendly and approachable, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. I always have the beef tacos and quesadillas, my plate is cleared...every single time which doesn't happen often for me. All the small touches make the experience so much more enjoyable such as serving nice cold water in old mexican tequila bottles, it is much appreciated after a spicy meal haha! It can be a little pricey (usually £50/£60 for 2 courses for 2 people and a drink) but it is well worth it for the quality of food and service. I couldn't fault this place and every time I leave I look forward to goin...
