We decided to have lunch first before proceeding to Salzkamergutt and getting up to Dachsteinberg. We passed by this restaurant by the lake a very relaxing place with a cool view. The feel was fantastic and the food was superb.

Grundsätzlich, wenn du nicht blond bist oder in Österreich geboren wurdest, bist du hier nicht willkommen. Komm niemals hierher. Das Personal ist unhöflich. Die Kellnerin im Restaurant ist die schlimmste. Wenn du jemals unwillkommen sein möchtest, ist dies der richtige Ort.

Wir haben hier im Garten zu Mittag gegessen. Meine Frau hatte Lammkoteletts mit gedämpftem Gemüse. Ich hatte Schnitzel. Wir haben einen gemischten Salat geteilt. Der Aperol Spritz und das Weißbier waren gut. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Service perfekt! Sehr entspanntes Mittagessen direkt am See. Speisekarte ansehen

We stayed in the hotel for a week and chose to eat here almost every evening. Its a family run establishment and the staff are really helpful. There is a good choice of food and all the dishes are very tasty and well presented. The outdoor seating is on the edge of the lake and its a wonderful place for a relaxing meal.

We sat here one afternoon for a couple of dinks overlooking the lake in such a beautiful setting and decided to return for lunch the following day. It was busy as it was lunch time but we were served quickly by the friendly staff and both chose the schnitzel. The food arrived fresh and hot in a reasonable time and was delicious. A lovely relaxing place with a friendly atmosphere in a beautiful setting.

Vor vielen Jahren haben wir hier gegessen und festgestellt, dass es genauso gut war, als wir es wieder besucht haben. Das Personal ist wirklich nett, die Speisekarte verlockend und das Essen ausgezeichnet. Für einige Gerichte wird eine kleinere Portion angeboten, was uns oft gut passt: Wir bevorzugen Qualität vor Quantität... oder gönnen uns manchmal einfach ein Dessert. Wir haben mit Knoblauch-Kartoffelsuppe begonnen, sie war sehr gut und ich kann sie empfehlen. Ich habe mit Wiener Schnitzel weitergemacht, es war in Ordnung. Mein Sohn hat Tomatenrisotto mit Tofu genommen, es war auch sehr gut. Die Desserts waren auch sehr gut (aber ich bin ein Fan von Desserts). Die Lage des Restaurants ist gut und der Service ist auch gut. Sie können draußen auf der Terrasse oder drinnen sitzen, wenn es regnerisch ist. Insgesamt 80 € für 4 Personen. Überhaupt nicht teuer. Unterm Strich empfehle ich.

We had dinner here a few nights ago, and I really cannot overstate how impressed we were. Admittedly we were starving after a long walk down the Schafberg, but regardless, we were pretty blown away by the food.I had the garlic & potato soup, which was sensational; then the boiled beef, which came with various trimmings including a delightful grated horseradish and creamed spinach. We weren't planning on getting a dessert, but the first two courses were so good we felt it would almost be rude not to, so we each had an apple strudel, which again was fantastic. We arrived at 3pm for a late lunch, a family of 5 people. The place was busy but not fully packed. Unfortunately we had to wait more than an hour from the moment we ordered until our dishes were served. The location is wonderful with great views of the lake, and the food, once arrived, was quite good. However, because it took so long to serve our food we felt that our day is being wasted and lost some of our appetite - the late lunch became an extremely late lunch. The food arrived late with no apology, the waiter was apathetic. He should have warned us in advance that one dish we ordered, the lamb chops, would take ages to prepare and should not have delayed all the dishes of the rest of us... Speisekarte ansehen
