The lunch was excellent, with fresh vegetables straight from the restaurant's own garden. The inn keepers were very attentive and caring. Service and location both received a perfect score of 5.

beautiful village pub from the 16th century (it is really more impressive from the inside.) good choice of ales and bigger. very nice eating with more raffinesse than their average pub. great location and I think they have rooms and there is a campsite nearby. worth visiting.

Went for a meal in this lovely old Inn. There was a fare selection on the menu. The food was OK but not great. My beef was a little dry and was more like a Chinese dish with the amount of teriyaki sauce on the plate ,i had to order a side of potatoes to go with what would have been a very small meal. I absolutely adore this restaurant for a weekend getaway. It's our fifth time staying here. The room is wheelchair accessible, the food is amazing, and the staff is delightful. The location is very peaceful and it's conveniently close to Southwold, Dunwich, and Minsmere. Overall, we rate the rooms, service, and location all a 5 out of 5.
