amazing eating and good value for money. in any case recommend in the afternoon tee for everyone.

A family birthday celebration. Sandwiches not as advertised, the menu was our reason for booking. A lot of the food was left over, however, it was boxed up and we brought it home with us. Service and atmosphere great, cocktails went down a treat.

Sunday lunch 2 courses great worth for money. would they have given 5 stars if they had not run out of mince sauce for the roast lamb, they forgot to calculate for 1 bottle of wine we owned to pay for it. the brat was beautiful huge for great appetite. a bit quiet for a Sunday, but probably very busy at other times. will have come back to any Speisekarte ansehen

I have eatend here many times of an evening and always been pleased with the food and the service. My family ate here prior to a Matinee theatre show and I was blown away by 1) The quality of the of the food, 2) The quantity of the food and 3) The quality of the service for such an amazing price! Will certainly recommend to all of my friends and I will certainly be back for many lunch time treats! Simply a must when in Liverpool!

Had a fabulous meal here. Service was excellent, staff very friendly, food absolutely delicious and decor very comfortable. Wine was a reasonable price per bottle too! The restaurant was separate from the bar area, but not closed off so the ambience from the bar provided good (but not too intrusive) background noise. Excellent band on later in the evening so we moved into the bar area after the meal and partied!! Would definitely recommend.

St. John's restaurant was possibly the worst restaurant meal I have ever had in England. And it was on the last night of my visit. I had hoped to have a good meal to celebrate my trip, but this ended my trip on a sour note. For dinner I ordered Potteed Shrimp, braised lamb shank and a class of Merlot. The potted shrimp consisted of tiny canned shrimp that looked as though they were cooked three days before and were in a greasy butter souplike fluid. They were disgusting. The lamb shanks also we're obviously cooked several days before, they were totally dried out and flavorless and served in a thick gravy that tasted instant and very salty.
