"We thought we had booked a table for 8pm but it was for 7.45, as we were making our way there, we got a phone call telling us that we had booked a table for 7.45 we apologised and said we had made a mistake...with the time. We were told that the kitchen closed at 8pm, so we said no problem, we would go elsewhere but they said if we hurried, they would keep the kitchen open for us. When we arrived, the greeter at the door handed us menus and said to order only off one part of the menu ,as it would help the kitchen staff, although food was still coming out of the kitchen. We felt rushed and staff kept looking at us when we had finished our meals as if they needed us to move so they could clear the table. We would have preferred it if the staff had said they couldn’t accommodate us but obviously with six of us ordering food and bottles of wine, they didn’t want to turn away the money! The food was average, the pub itself is really nice and lovely outside garden space but the attitude of the staff put a damper on our evening. It seems strange that a pub next to a busy park like Tattershall would close the kitchen at 8pm on the first weekend of the half term holidays!"

lamb dinner was nice, but my partner got cake, a cut of a cake he expected a full torte one of the kids got pizza and it was like the chicagoer city microwave pizza in the frozen gang

after reading the reviews we decided to try this place because we tied a good old moan. but the food and service was great.i had the lamb and nabenby had a burger. everything was hot and delicious. is looking forward to the return here at our next visit.

have visited many paints during the stay in the park near, but this week was very disappointed eating edible atmosphere bland the half of the restaurant was shut off labor problems our waiter got my meal wrong asked for new kartoffel given chip table cake and...chip I don't think so Speisekarte ansehen

Really disappointed with our visit. The food was not up to the standard you would expect. The steak was tough some of our order didn’t arrive with the main meals had to ask twice and waited 15mins for the sauce to be brought. For the...quality of the food it was over priced. Will not be coming back again.

We have visited this pub before and been quite satisfied. However, in the last visit about 10 days ago now, the food was absolutely dire. In particular I ordered the speciality beef pie and it was singularly the worst meal I've had in years! And...at something over £14 a portion! Truly dreadful, you have been warned!

Walked here from the caravan park as looked a nice establishment and thought the food would be a nice change from the usual parks restaurants. However we were very disappointed. Braised beef was tough and mashed potatoes probably from a packet. Homemade batter on fish...was not crispy or tasty. Very bland. Starter portions were extremely small but overfilled with salad to substitute the lack of whatever starter you chosen. Dessert was nicer than starter and mains....however I expect these were out of a packet too. Would not return Speisekarte ansehen

Just visited here for Sunday lunch whilst staying at nearby tattershal country park. What a disappointment it was. After reading excellent reviews I was sure we would have a lovely meal. It's the worst roast dinner I have ever had. Smash instant potatoes frozen stuffing...ball Yorkshire pudding parsnips and roast potatoes. Carrots pre prepped off site and brought in. the gravy was like water with no hint of meat juices for £11.95 I would of expected freshly cooked potatoes vegetables and homemade Yorkshire pudding. Very disappointed.

my friend and I visited here 3 times about our stay in the park next door and can only say that the food was “average” each time but the last time that the service was terrible, we did not order some of our items...and after we had finished our meal, we waited and waited for our table to delete and ask if we were desserts (which we did not wait) but after 45 minutes we had gone to ask we will not come back here! if you want an excellent tofu service, we recommend you to visit the leagate inn in cosingby on the road for an excellent service!
