I recently went camping and dining at a lovely little apartment. The camping area was spacious and flat, conveniently located near plenty of public footpaths in the forest and meadows. Dogs are welcome, and there's ample room to secure them comfortably. The pub food was well-prepared and beautifully presented, and my dog even received her own little plate of treats. I would love to return with a group next time; it's a fantastic little spot!

Lovely food and Sophie family super welcoming, nothing was to much trouble, relaxed professional atmosphere. Great family run traditional pub. I also do not understand the negative reviews we couldn't fault the pub, food or the team. I do not see the issue with an owner responding to these keyboard warrior negative reviews when people will not say if they are not satisfied at the time, in my opinion it shows how much she cares for the business and how they strive for the perfect customer service. This is a charming little pub with a cozy cottage feel, featuring low beams and a beautiful fireplace. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. There's also a lovely field at the back for camping, along with a nice garden and some pigs! We had a very helpful gentleman who towed our campervan out of the mud when it got stuck. Just a heads up: if it's very wet on weekends, be cautious in a campervan! The pub has limited opening days, so be sure to check their website. As for vegetarian options, the mac and cheese is excellent, though the overall selection might not be extensive. There’s plenty of halloumi on the menu! Meat eaters will enjoy a good roast dinner as well.

We enjoyed an excellent weekend of camping here. It is a beautiful location to enjoy a couple of nights getaway like we did, the campsite is basic but ideal for a short break. Great value for money. The owners could not have been more welcoming and they are very organised with the booking process with additional covid safety procedures in place. Sophie was so helpful from the moment we first contacted her for availability and options. We enjoyed two fantastic meals at the pub, the burgers are to die for and the Sunday Roast was like a proper homemade roast should be. We are hoping to get back for another weekend in August. What a fantastic little hidden gem of a pub! The charming and quirky interior reminds me of a cozy old-fashioned country house living room. There's a great selection of drinks, including authentic cask ales, served by friendly and attentive staff in a small nook. The food was enjoyable, with plenty of options on the menu, including a nice variety of appetizers and light bites, as well as well-prepared pub favorites and an extensive burger selection. I will definitely return after a hike or bike ride in the picturesque countryside, as it’s the perfect spot to take a break.
