Beautiful home cooked food and plenty of it! I had steak and ale pie, full of meat and really flavoursome. Would definitely recommend a visit. Staff and friendly and professional. Meal served promptly.

Fantastic little pub.. a country atmosphere on the outskirts of the town. A warm welcome, friendly staff and amazing food with huge portions, they were very good with our little boy and we will definitely be back.

They obviously believe in quantity rather than quality chips tasted as iff they had been cooked yesterday the eggs were hard and the gammon was like leather my wife's hunters chicken was just as bad will not be going there again Speisekarte ansehen

Started coming here as our usual regular has gone down hill slightly, and I must say I could not fault a thing. Service was brilliant, all the girls were lovely, and the food was exceptional! Probably going to make this a weekly occurrence.

The food was amazing all quality home made food the skills of the chefs were clear, steaks cooked perfectly, mash seasoned and garnished corectly. They also cater for kids perfectly offering 2 different menus for small kids and larger kids. Truly a delight.

Main meal delicious once sat down. Had to move from other tables extremely noisy and loud. Sat upstairs quieter, but music blaring in ear. Couldn't answer phone as to noisy Decor outdated artex walls very 80s Tablecloths needed badly on old tables Service however friendly Speisekarte ansehen

A friend and myself going for a meal once a week for months all lovely good food very pleasant.Allways paid for our meals after and always left tip.On this afternoon we just finished our meals a male member ove staff came over and said have you paid for them meals out loud.this was very embarrassing we paid and left never go there again.

Could not fault the food. The problem was presentation. We went for Sunday lunch the plate came out with two boiled potatoes Yorkshire pudding meat and small amount of gravy all dumped together. My partner did actually have a small roast potato as well. We had to ask for the veg which had not arrived five minutes after the plate as above. However the food was cooked well and tasty ashame about the presentation and service

Have eaten there for many years, unfortunately this time the food was awful gloopy dry chicken and inedible, had 3 mouthfuls and left it, it looked like something that had been in a baby's nappy.. when mentioning to the staff I was told I should of said something when asked (I had food in my mouth so was unable to reply) I was then told if I'd asked I could have had more sauce, which wouldn't have made the chicken any less dry, I was charged full price for a meal I couldn't eat... I reached out to the owners and was ignored, I wrote again 3 days later and I had a reply a day later, obviously saying they hadn't had complaints before and was sorry, they would give us 2 free meals to make up fo...
