What a fantastic old English Pub, Food was excellent and plentiful. The price was also very reasonable. Service staff outstanding. Thank you Faye and T for making our evening.

I stopped by on a whim for dinner and ended up having a delightful meal. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5!

I had the best quality eating in old age. the personal is very friendly and accommodating. there is a long stay parking not far from the restaurant and a beautiful canal near. many shops along the pleasant high St. seating in and outside. Speisekarte ansehen

I always enjoy a fantastic meal here! This is my second visit, and while it may seem a bit pricey, you truly get your money's worth, especially with the generous portion sizes. I ordered the steak and ale pie, and I loved that I could choose between mash, fries, or potatoes. The desserts are quite large, so they’re perfect for sharing!

We were searching for a family-friendly restaurant for a Sunday evening and were initially uncertain about this place from the outside. However, once we spoke with the staff, they were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our children feel welcome. dripping for a fast (ish) light engraving and a pint on Eastermontag. we arrived at about 3:30 a.m. and didn't want us to want a fully flewish meal that we told very happy that we could get something from the lunch menu. attentive service and yet not rushy or eager. had a nice conversation with the manager who was very much hands on, eating was delivered in about 10 minutes and especially, was very good. is stunned over this place during a visit in hythe. we were greeted in the inner, our dogs were also welcome, so always a plus in my book. I have to admit, I was really surprised at the quality of the food, it was really delicious, although a touch expensive, but get what u pay, I would rather have a nice meal than a cheap meal that is cooked in a microwave. the staff was very friendly and welcoming. we would definitely recommend and go back in the future, well done keep the good work.

During our one-night stay in Lyminge, we were told we’d have a great meal, and we certainly were not disappointed. The steak in the pie was wonderfully tender, accompanied by chips and peas, which left my husband very happy. I had the soup and must admit I couldn’t resist stealing some of his meal! The girls behind the bar and serving food were fantastic—nothing was too much trouble for them, and they even laughed and sang along to Tina Turner, which was a delightful touch. Thank you for a lovely evening. The prices were very reasonable too. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the banoffee pie—yum!

The fish and chips here are exceptionally delicious, especially compared to many other traditional pubs in England. The interior is charming, and the staff, particularly the friendly and helpful waitress, enhances the experience. The menu offers a good variety, with daily specials and plenty of dessert options, all at reasonable prices. The place is clean and features a lovely outdoor seating area that catches the evening sun (if the weather permits). It's conveniently located in the heart of historic Hythe and demonstrates a strong awareness of Covid-19 safety measures. I was truly impressed and can find no drawbacks.
