Thanks again to the fantastic staff at the new cafe royale in Girvan today … afternoon tea was beautiful and macaroni and chips were delicious… keep up the good work ladies … we’ll be returning soon xx

Visited with my sisters for a late lunch. Lovely selection of sandwiches including Vegan options, great chips on the side Very friendly service, an owner who who obviously cares about her customers! Delighted to find homemade slabs of Butter Tablet

What a fantastic little cafe! Myself, my husband and our two dogs had lunch here today. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Food was tasty and plentiful. They do vegan and gluten free options too if that’s what you want. We’d go back. Thank you to staff. Keep doing what you do! Well done!

This is a great addition to Girvan. Friendly professional service, very clean and good home cooking. Soup is delicious, the cakes and scones are fabulous and a wonderful choice. Genuinely dog friendly with dogs having their own menu! They also do occasional evening menus which Girvan is desperate for!

This cafe has been going for along time. Now changed hands with the same atmosphere. Went in 15/09/23 for a coffee. Got talking to the owner about gluten-free. Well tattie scones slice sausage cakes etc wow. Went back in 16/09/23 had potato soup,then slice sausage tattie scone egg and beans. All I can say is that the staff are brilliant. The food was brilliant. I’m here for the next week or so. It will be regular haunt. Thank you. Billy Campbell

I had an absolutely amazing lunch at this restaurant. The staff were very attentive and helpful. As a person with gluten intolerance, I ordered a gluten-free panini with Brie, bacon, and cranberry, along with a side salad. I also ordered a side of chips, but couldn't finish it all because I was so full. My husband had a huge burger with chips and salad, which was also delicious. The selection of gluten-free cakes was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This cafe is so warm and welcoming, with an excellent location and great customer service. The food is fresh, tasty, and the portions are huge. The cake was delicious. I am currently walking the entire UK coast path solo for the RNLI, and I was welcomed here with my large backpack. They offered me a complimentary meal, drink, and cake to go. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome. I highly recommend this lovely cafe, and the staff definitely make you want to come back again.

This cafe has been shut for several years and has just reopened in 2022 to a warm welcome in the town. It's been redecorated inside, and the new operators are enthusiastic and really care. There's a small town comfort and charm here, many locals pop in for coffee and cake. The cakes and sweets variety is extensive and the breakfast and food is delicious, certainly up to par with or better than most Scottish cafes. It's presented well and offered with a smile. Prices are fair! We'll be back.

I visited this café for the first time and was greeted by a lovely lady. The front area was busy, but there is a comfortable rear area with booths and additional seating. A staff member informed me of the specials, which included two types of soup, a vegan option, a bagel with scrambled eggs and avocado, and a few other choices. I opted for the lentil soup, which was delicious and well-seasoned, and a tuna wrap with salad and coleslaw. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. I noticed some tasty-looking milkshakes at a nearby table, and I was pleased to see that the restaurant is dog-friendly. Overall, I had a pleasant lunch and felt welcomed. I will definitely visit this café aga...
