"very good, fresh, sushi with a good vegan selection. really beautiful restoration also with paintings from a fantastic local artist. they will also customize some vegetarian elements to make them vegan when they ask. they are expensive, but everything is sushi. her Wakame salad is particularly good. they need to be a little bit careful with labeling, I have not vegan articles like the sweetsegyozas (contained a) and the tomago (an egg omelette) listed incorrectly as vegan several times, especially on their online order forms be so careful to check everything that seems strange. updated by previous review on 2022-01-31"

"We dropped in for a meal last Sunday night to break our journey. We had a lovely meals my husband had the steak special with mushroom sauce the chips were crunchy just as we like them and the steak was nicely cooked and great value . I had the fish pie and found it to be tasty dish. We had delightful service from Evie and Jade who were both friendly and professional. I left my jacket there and the staff went beyond to have it returned to me really fantastic service . Thank you Bills Newbury for a lovely meal and amazing customer service."

"I've eaten at Cote many times before.Visited today table of 6 and had the worst experience.Table wasn't ready for a 1pm booking,Drinks did not arrive and took 15min before chasing the server to realise the order was not processed.Finally ordered our meal (2 x kids meals 4 x adults)Many missing items from the adults menu.Garlic bread arrive (thankfully in a timely manner and filled the gap)Little did we know that we would have to wait a further 75min at which point the children's order arrive however it was not the correct food (no apologies) so we sent that back and still no sign of food for the adults.I've never walked out of a restaurant in my life but at this point we decided to make our way with hungry children and very disappointed adults.Never experienced anything like this before and really leaves me questioning our feelings about returning.Very unhappy children and dissatisfied frequent visiting guests"

"go hungry, I mean so hungry that you literally crawl through their door on the knees. the food proportions are not only huge. I had the cured meat starter, spaghetti and meatballs (to die in a spicy tomato sauce) and a door stop wedge of strawberry cake. the meat was fresh and tasty, the pasta was boiled exactly correctly, the meatballs fell apart on the fork and the cheesecake was pure pleasure. I did not get the garlic, sodburnen kater, with which also some Italian restaurants can leave them. go hungry, book well ahead they are very busy, and enjoy the fantastic authentic eating and excellent service that host are Italian and incredibly friendly."

"amazing eating, friendly staff and very inexpensive. the red basket food offers are very valuable and the children's menu is just the right size and the right price. children also get an egg with beats for £1! the milkshakes are amazing, just the right thick and not too sweet. the fricken (fried pickles) were a little disappointing, but we expected a whole gherkin and not discs so that most of this is on us. I would definitely recommend going here. it can wait for a table, but they can also collect order here, so no apologies to not get the food."
