The Crafty Hound - Speisekarte

Called in for early Sunday lunch. Had roast beef was superb. Yorkshire puddings superb. Friendly helpful staff. Would happily return again.

Went Thursday November Service from the two male staff on duty was excellent, nothing was a problem to them. The lunch was beautiful and without a doubt will return. Keep up the good work. Regards Chris Portadown

Went to this restaurant last Wednesday and booked well In advance as I new they would be best but when we came we got put into the pub bit and the had give our table to walk ins! Also food was poor got lasagna and it was like something you would cook in the microwave! Wouldn’t recommend

Four older girls, meeting for food and chat. We were delighted with the range of choices Three choose from the vegan list as the choices were so inviting. Sweet Chili chicken was chosen from the main menu. The restaurant was pretty busy but the staff were very attentive A lovely evening, beautiful food, all four of us were wowed!! Thank you Crafty Hound! We plan to return

We booked The Crafty Hound for our family birthday celebration. The food was so good and the service from the staffReview was second to none. This was by far the best meal that we have had in a long time. A special mention for Jay...who took the time for a friendly chat and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back. I was disappointed with my dining experience at this restaurant. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken promptly, but the mussels and wings were just average in taste. Our main dishes arrived before we had even finished our starters, and both the pasta dish and chicken curry were bland and unsatisfying. I ended up feeling queasy after the meal. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food quality and service.

We have been coming here as a local for years, they have recently changed their menu and its not great, we attended on on a Sunday where they had no Sunday specials, and had ran out of the only beef on the menu, very poor...selection of food. Will have to go somewhere else for a nice Sunday roast. Staff where lovely and attentive, we were asked times of if we had placed our order and we even received drink orders. Food was slow to arrive after we had finally picked from the limited menu.

Called today to gave lunch with my Mum for her birthday. The young waiter was very nice, the place wasnt at all busy but from taking our order, we waited mins for the food. When it came it was delicious but i was in...a hurry so couldn’t really take time to enjoy It. Seems the kitchen hadnt got, or lost, the order but the staff didnt even question why our food hadnt come and if i hadnt asked after mins i would still be there. . Would recommend the food though and I guess i may be back who knows

We arrived at 6:55pm for our 7:00pm reservation for a party of 4. We waited in the hallway behind other customers until 7:20pm before being seated at our table. Unfortunately, our table was not set and we were not provided with cutlery. A young waiter quickly took our drink orders, which arrived promptly. However, another 25 minutes passed before anyone took our food order, despite there being many waitstaff running around. When we finally flagged down a server to take our order, we were informed that our table was not his responsibility and he would send our waiter over.
