Five of us went their for dinner, staff very welcoming an it was a lovely meal, especially the chocolate brownie for dessert

Lovely family meal in the garden room. Delicious meals, great selection of drinks, staff were very friendly and attentive very pleasant experience we'll be back.

Lovely Saturday lunch. Great staff, food and beers. Have known this place in different guises for over 40 years and it is still great! Need to return more often.

Superb food, excellent attentive staff and a wonderful atmosphere. The Crown is a place close to our hearts as we had our Wedding Reception there. The redesign and improvements have enhanced the old place massively! From us!

Went last night for the first time....lovely warm welcome from the guy behind the bar he recommended a bitter for my other half and a lovely glass of rose wine for me. Amazing food and brilliant service. Will absolutely visit again

It's really gone down hill in the last year or so. This used to be the place to go with moderately high prices to suit. The last time we had food here it was not good a grissly steak that was over seasoned. Have stopped eating here. The place used to be packed. Its a real shame. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3

Absolutely fantastic lunch as always and great service and ambience- roast beef was awesome and Apple cinnamon and ginger crumble was lush We live about 40min drive away in Stamford and would thoroughly recommend for people looking for something a bit more special than usual Well done to all at the crown You were awesome
