Spent the evening here drinking, eating and celebrating my wife’s birthday Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent 10 out of 10

Very enjoyable Sunday Lunch. Great choice of roasts and sides. Service was exemplary and it was excellent value for a lovely afternoon out. Recommended.

Nice locals pub in the middle of Pateley Bridge. Service friendly enough and good choice of drinks. Didn’t order food, but what we saw others eating looked to be good hearty pub food. Speisekarte ansehen

My family and I went for dinner on a Saturday evening and although the pub was very busy we were served our drinks and food in good time. The Steak and Ale Pie is lovely with a huge portion, the gravey to go with it is fantastic. I would highly recommend this pub.

This review is for the restaurant only and I really do not understand where the positive mentions come from. The service is truly good and the waitress was ever so nice, but the food is really mediocre. We had the burgers and they were a real disappointment. If something is badly cooked you can send the course out and ask for something else, but this… The bread obviously came from a plastic bag at Tescos and the meat probably from the same place. It was sturdy and tasted just about nothing. The portion is big but the satisfaction is not. For a £16 burger I would expect so much more.

Situated on the High Street in Pately Bridge, this friendly traditional pub offers an excellent Carvery style Sunday lunch from 12.00 3.00pm. Delicious, home cooked food, comprising a choice of 3 roasts cooked to perfection and a great selection of about 9 veg, including less predictable offerings such as creamed leeks and red cabbage. The walls of the dining area are lined with dozens of Neil Simone prints, as well as another talented artist. It's worth going just to see those! As with many small businesses who suffer crippling charges imposed by the huge banking corps, cash is preferred if you can, so knowing that in advance will help you support them. Go. Eat.
