I wish I had taken photos of what we all ordered, but the food looked and tasted so good we just couldn't wait. It was absolutely beautiful. A beautiful pub and staff are very helpful and friendly. A really warm atmosphere. Just the perfect place for a Birthday treat.

Wonderful food. Really honest friendly service, they always make you feel really welcome. And pretty good prices for the quality of food served. Used to visit the Royal Oak at Auburn but as that has gone downhill and seems to be getting worse, this place only seems to get better.

Visited several times now. Food and service has been fantastic. Steaks are cooked to perfection and taste so good, you can tell they use quality ingredients. Decor is very quirky and fun reminds me of a old school pub with all the decor. If you want good food cone here, advise to book as gets very busy. Speisekarte ansehen

Absolutely adore this pub. The decor is a little mad but it's a beautiful building with a cosy setting. The menu is regularly updated and the food is delicious every time. The staff are well-trained and the host, Mark, is incredibly accommodating for those wanting to tweak/change any components of a dish (such as for a picky vegetarian like myself). Really good variety of vegan and vegetarian options, all with good-sized portions and fair prices. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this place. It was highly recommended to us by a good friend and he was so right! Today we went for our second time and we took my nine week old baby with us. We couldn't have been made to feel anymore welcome. Super friendly staff made us feel completely at ease and couldn't have been more helpful. They even offered to replace my cup of coffee if it had gone cold when I'd been a while changing the baby's nappy. We'll definitely be becoming regulars!

Booked a table for a Sunday lunch with family. We were seated straight away, and although the restaurant is fairly tightly packed, both with tables and a lot of memorabelia, we were not crowded around the table and it was a comfortable spot. Service was quick and friendly, although we were told when ordering to expect a wait of around 25 minutes for food, which was fairly accurate. It wasn't a problem though, and worth waiting for freshly cooked food! The meals were excellent and went down very well, except for the roast beef, which was good but a bit tough and fatty. The choice was also very good, including a separate vegetarian and vegan menu. Desserts were also good value, very delicious... Speisekarte ansehen
