We had THE BEST Sunday Roast today EVER!!! The quality of the food, taste, how quick it was with us after we ordered, the amount of food oh my goodness!! I am speechless!! Mind blowing!! I visited the place for a game of skittles and found the drink prices to be quite reasonable. The homemade turkey curry they offered was absolutely delicious, and the service from the staff was fantastic. Kudos to the new owners and chef! I will definitely be returning. Service: 5, Location: 4.

Friendly staff. Delicious food.Dog friendly. Food and drinks: Stopped here to try a Thai night meal. Tasty Tom Yum soup followed by Thai green chicken curry with vegetable spring rolls and a satay sauce. They had choices of red or green curry in eitherpork or chicken. The soup was not too spicey, and the red curry was a bit spicier than the green.All very good and reasonably priced. The hotel pub has various themed meals it seems, as they were already advertising the next, a mexican meal night. I would recommend this place to eat.

I visited this charming pub while catching up with friends for a Sunday carvery. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a lovely place to spend the afternoon. The food was excellent—a true traditional Sunday lunch. There were three meat options available, and my friend remarked that the lamb was the best she had ever tasted away from home. I opted for the homemade vegan nut roast, which was absolutely delicious. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the vegan gravy was delightful as well.
