Absolutely amazing food!! All served fresh and hot. Service is excellent and the staff could not do enough for you. This is the best meal we have had and would not hesitate to travel the 1hr 30mins to dine here again. If you’re in the area this is a must.

We had booked a table with the intention of eating very traditional Chinese food. Unfortunately this was not to be, we found the portions to be very small and definitely aimed at the British taste buds and unfortunately did not fit the brief. Very bland food. Chips were undercooked. Rice were definitely not done on a wok. Lady taking order kept emphasising the fact everything’s homemade which made her prices a little more justifiable however i wont be eating here again after tasting it. The lady taking our order was lovely but same cant be said about her food.

Booked in last minute as stopping close by. Service staff were great and food was lovely. Good size portions. Only thing that could of been better was if they could of accommodated the meal I wanted I asked for chicken in black pepper sauce rather than fillet. The reason why they couldn't was it was too busy, personally it didn't look busy I felt as if it was an easy swap. I would still recommend.

We absolutely adore this hidden gem!! It never fails to be the highlight of our holiday. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed and treated like family. The service is exceptional, the food is consistently excellent and always beautifully presented with amazing flavor. The gluten-free options are plentiful and impressive. I came here tonight with my daughter, sister and my niece. We had a lovely evening, ordered our usual dishes and recommended some to my sister (first time dining here). She is a very fussy eater and cannot eat too much spice. We ordered the crispy chicken is peking sauce for her and asked for it to be made very mild. She loved it so much we have already planned the next trip here. Everything is freshly made to order and nothing is too much trouble for the chefs and the staff that work here.

In my opinion, this place offers the best Chinese food in the city and is one of the top restaurants overall. The atmosphere is welcoming and the hospitality is warm and friendly; the food is outstanding (especially the salt and pepper chicken wings). I have been here a few times and always had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it to anyone. It is a shame that I lived in Bangor for years before trying it. My only complaint would be that the beer is a bit expensive, but overall it offers good value. It is not cheap, but definitely not overpriced.

It has been a while since our last meal at the Garden Hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint! The food was freshly made to order and delicious, with plenty of choices to cater to everyone's preferences. The coffee was particularly noteworthy, far from the typical cheap, machine-made kind found at most restaurants. The staff were polite, attentive, and went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu, which had changed slightly since our last visit, and were happy to answer any questions we had about the food. We are looking forward to returning again soon.
