"Great staff and good food. Beer is Greene King, which is ok. We were just a bit confused by the food situation to be honest, we may have missed the signs telling you how things worked. There are menus on every table, with table numbers, some said reserved, some didn't. We sat at a none reserved table and started looking at the food menu. A very nice lady asked if we'd reserved, we hadn't, and she said she'd have to ask the kitchen if they could accommodate us. Ok. Luckily they could so I went to order at the bar, but it's actually table service. Which is all great, but the table numbers suggest you go up yourself. So there seemed to be a secret handshake to food, but we could have missed a sign explaining this. In the end the food was ok-good. Seemed like standard pub food to me. Great staff and service, you just may need to reserve to guarantee food."

"I have never been disappointed with the food and takeaway. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, if you are a couple or a group. I have never felt rushed to finish even if eating late. The staff are friendly,polite and always look smart. The food is delicious,always hot and well presented. The takeaway delivery is good, food is always hot and well prepared.I highly recommend the Spice Lounge."

"Tonight, we had dinner (yes, I know it's snowing!) and it was absolutely fabulous. The atmosphere was very quiet, but the waitress was incredibly attentive and provided helpful updates on the weather and travel conditions on back roads, as another staff member had just come from those areas. The food was simply beautiful. We felt a bit rushed because I was worried about returning to the snow quickly, especially since it looked like it would snow again soon!"

"I visited chilli and pepper last night for the first time in a while because of Covid seem to have a new waiter there, his attitude in the speed he wanted to service us was ridiculous... speed speed speed, there was nothing enjoyable about it......at the end of the night the bill came was I got my card out and put it on the table my daughter was getting hers out of her purse when he came along with the card machine, pick my card up off the table and he tapped it for me me... i only had in GBP on that card the rest of the money was Euros and Krone... I've ended up having to explain to him but there wasn't enough GBP on there and as a result if that I have ended up paying for the conversion from Euro to GBP... A WAITER THAT REALLY DIDN'T CARE.. WON'T BE RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE AGAIN WHILE SAID WAITER IS EMPLOYED THERE.."

"We stayed in our camper van at this restaurant and were greeted by Nathan upon arrival. He quickly helped us get set up without any delays. We had booked for dinner and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was lively with locals and other campers. We will definitely return. Price per person ranges from £20 to £30. Food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5."
