The gluten free spaghetti at this restaurant is fantastic! I opted to have it served in a tagliatelle dish and it was incredibly tasty. It didn't taste like it was gluten free at all, it was just perfect! They also offer a variety of gluten free dessert options. Speisekarte ansehen

I went for Afternoon Tea with my wife, thanks to my sister-in-law. The parking was convenient (they have a Blue Badge Scheme), and the waiting staff were very attentive. The tea was delightful, and they were so generous that we ended up taking some cakes home in a box. We were seated indoors, which was comfortable, though the table could have been a bit larger. Overall, I would rate the service a 4 and the location a 5. Highlights of the hotel include its luxury, romantic atmosphere, and tranquility.

I just had another fantastic three-night stay at my favorite hotel in the UK! I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade, which was a lovely bonus. The breakfasts and dinners in the Garden Room continued to meet the high standards I've come to expect in terms of quality, service speed, and the friendliness of the staff. The attentive and friendly service is truly what sets the George apart, from the welcoming doorman and reception team to the bar and restaurant staff, and let’s not forget the housekeeping team! I can’t wait to return soon.

"I had lunch at the Oak Room and found the bread to be quite hard; it seems there wasn't enough butter to spread on it. The king prawn tempura would have been better if the shells and heads had been removed beforehand. However, all the main dishes were very good. The sherry trifle lacked a sufficient cream layer and had way too much fruit sponge. On a positive note, the service was excellent, which is what I would expect for a £500 lunch at such a grand restaurant. I appreciated that the round table was moved away from the wall, allowing the staff to reach each customer more easily. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would rate it 8/10 for the meal and 5/5 for service. Thank you!" Speisekarte ansehen
