The Golden River Take-away

I ordered takeout, and the food was delicious. The Chicken Curry and Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings were both excellent. Due to COVID-19, they are only accepting phone orders and have a one-in, one-out policy for pickups.

The food, including the lemon chicken and chicken fried rice, was excellent, but it was on the pricey side. As for the atmosphere, the surfaces in the waiting area felt a bit sticky. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3.

This is definitely the best Chinese takeaway I've experienced. The food was exceptional, receiving a full five stars. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, earning another five stars. Highly recommended!

Always get takeaway here when in the area and have never had a bad experience. The salt and pepper munchy box is fantastic value and very tasty. I ordered the fried rice and sweet and sour Cantonese style chicken. The meal was still hot after a 10 minute walk and the service was very quick. What a fantastic spot! I was visiting from Seattle on a road trip when my travel companion got sick, so I was in search of takeout and some soup. Initially, I headed to Deli Barqen Chinese takeaway, but the wait was incredibly long. As a visitor, I didn’t realize I should’ve called ahead to place an order. So, I crossed over to Golden River and ordered soup for my friend, along with Chicken Fried Rice, which was delicious, and some Spring Rolls (or Fried Egg Rolls, as Americans call them).
