"We have often eaten in The Green, live near foot. Our last meal was really excellent and we felt it an improvement. We had the breast of duck and fillet of beef, both cooked rarely and very much to our taste. The kitchen is certainly 'nouvelle', but portions are generous with lots of vegetables. The wine list is also good and we have a very good bottle of gigondas not cheap, but certainly enjoyed excellent."

Thoroughly enjoyable meal even with Covid restrictions. The menu was superb and i thought reflected the changing seasons well and utilised local produce but with enough of a twist to ensure you really feel like you're getting a dish that is unique to the chef and location. I thought the three dishes for £27 was exceptional value for money, we will definitely visit again.
