Went for lunch 6 weeks ago and had fish and cbips. The chef must have worked at the crematorium before. Went for a 2nd try on Thursday and the food was rubbish Will not be going again. Family Funeral Wake Event Food was lovely, friendly staff and very clean. Little disappointed that you never stocked Malibu or had run out? The carvery is very good. Normally when I go to a carvery, the meat joints are cooked in response to demand, which means they tend not to be melt in the mouth tender... At the Greyhound the cook the meat joints at a lower temperature for longer and so by the time they find they way onto the carving table, they are so tender... I try to go at least twice or three times a month. Less often and I get withdrawal symptoms... Service: Dine in

This is a fantastic restaurant to visit if you have a dog, as they allow you to bring them into the pleasant bar area. The seating is well spaced out so you are not too close to the next table. The carvery was good, the steak pie was lovely, and the fish was large and battered, although the chips could have been better. There is ample parking available at the rear of the restaurant and wheelchair accessibility is provided through double doors for access. The service was satisfactory and the food received a rating of 3 out of 5.

Absolutely loved it here. The food was incredible, the staff Absolutely brilliant and the atmosphere was so relaxing and homely. Definitely make sure you book a table though, it appears to be an extremely popular place to have dinner. Parking: Plenty of spaces and disabled parking. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and they have a child's menu. Apparently, the child's pizzas are a great size portion. My son had an adult pizza that was made fresh, no freezer stuff here. The pizza was so large he had to take the rest home and it looked and smelled delicious.
